Loz is such a fun and helpful tour guide! This was my 8th Tru Travels tour, and despite how unlucky we were with the weather for some of it (rain in Australia during the Australian Summer?!) Loz still made it the best it could be for us. This is one of the many reasons I love going travelling with Tru Travels - Loz does all the hard work and makes it so easy and enjoyable for you, everything is arranged and you just have to be there and get to enjoy it all. Loz made sure everyone could eat food they liked in all locations, joined in with all the fun and jokes, took everyone to fun bars and nice places to eat, was there for everyone to chat to, answered everyone’s questions, had so much knowledge about everything we did and everywhere we went, she also found out new facts or information people wanted to know, she helped everyone to enjoy each activity and encouraged those who were nervous, she went out of her way to make sure everyone was included. She also helped people to arrange what they wanted to do during their free time, which meant a lot when this is such a special tour in a country which was at the top of lots of our people in our group’s bucket list. Some people in our group may have missed out on things during the tour (and during their free time) or backed out of doing something they were nervous about doing if it wasn’t for Loz being so kind and encouraging, she is so well suited to this job. She is probably the most caring and considerate Tru tour guide I have met - and as this was my 8th Tru Travels tour, that is saying a lot. I have so many highlights from this time going travelling! One of the biggest ones for me was waking up for sunrise at Noosa, watching the sun come up over the water and the kangaroos hopping past on the edge of the water - the stuff of dreams! Another was the last two days of the tour, boat rides around the Whitsundays and going snorkelling on The Great Barrier Reef!!! A huge bucket list item ticked off, and it really was as incredible as I imagined. The amount of colourful fish and coral we got to see was amazing. We also saw dolphins when we were on the boat. The Whitsundays from the viewpoints really do look as beautiful in real life as they do in the photos, I felt so lucky to be there. Going on the banana boat on the last day was so much fun, and in such a stunning place! I loved seeing wild kangaroos, the beautiful beaches everywhere and being able to travel in this awesome country! Having a free day in Brisbane was great as it meant I could go to Australia Zoo, which isn’t included in the tour, but it has been a dream of mine since I was little. And it really is as good as you imagine it will be! Kayaking in Byron Bay was fun, and made even more special by seeing wild dolphins and a turtle. The boat ride and canoeing on the Noosa Everglades was a once in a lifetime thing, it is so pretty there. I loved the surfing at Spot X and just wish I could’ve done more. The piano bar we went to one night in Byron Bay was so much fun - not what you think it will be at all. K’gari (Fraser Island) was insanely special! I didn’t realise just how big the island was until we went, and had no idea just how pretty the whole place would be. Being driven across the beach there, seeing wild dingoes, the tall trees and ferns and everything on the pretty walk on the island, Lake McKenzie is soo blue!!!!, being driven across Rainbow Beach on the way back. What a day! I loved it all! I’m so sad the tour has ended, I want to do it all over again! And see more of Australia! More tours in other areas of Australia please!

The East Coast Aus tour was amazing. A great 15 days tour with lots of great activities. I had so much fun doing things like the boat trips, kayaking, snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef, canoeing, surfing, etc. The tour was well organised with a jam packed itinerary. But this was also flexible and allowed us to do our own things at times. I enjoyed travelling as part of a group and have made great friends. Our tour guide Loz was always positive and outgoing. She was super helpful with organising onward travel and extra activities like the sky diving in Airlie beach! My favourite part of the trip was definitely at Airlie beach! The views were incredible and absolutely loved the snorkelling and seeing all the coral at the Great Barrier Reef. It’s great doing something like this with a tour group as everything is organised for you like all the accommodation and transport. It makes it so much easier. I also did things I wouldn’t have done myself such as the surfing and staying at the noosa Everglades and these were some of the tour highlights! Overall, this was a great tour with our amazing tour guide Loz.

Lauren was the best guide ever for this tour! She made everything seem awesome and exciting even if the weather wasn't the best. I am so glad to have had her as my guide for this tour!
