Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bogotá
Your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to the hotel for check-in. You'll have the rest of the day to yourself, so you can either relax and adjust to the city or wander around on your own if you're feeling up to it.

- Day 2
Laguna de Guatavita and Salt Cathedral
Head out on a 1.5 hour drive to Laguna de Guatavita, a crater lake surrounded by forest that holds deep significance for the local Muisca tribe. After spending time there, you'll drive another hour to reach the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá, which is an underground church carved entirely out of a salt mine.

Bogotá City Tour
Start the morning at Paloquemao local market to see what's happening. Then take the ascent up Mount Monserrate for views across the city from high up. In the afternoon, walk through La Candelaria's historic center, checking out Plaza de Bolívar and the colonial buildings around it. Later, head to Museo de Botero to see Fernando Botero's works, and finish at Museo del Oro to see the world's largest gold artifacts collection.

Bogotá to Barichara
You'll fly to Bucaramanga and then drive 3 hours to Barichara, a colonial town with cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Spend time wandering the small town and checking out local stores and manual workshops. Visit the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Santa Barbara Chapel, the cemetery, and Jorge Delgado Sierra Park for the Arts before the day wraps up.

- Day 5
Barichara to Guane to Chicamocha
Early on, you'll hike the Camino Real stone-paved trail, which is 9 km and takes about 2-3 hours with mostly downhill terrain, moving from Barichara to Guane. Along the way, you'll pass the Suarez Viewpoint where the canyon views open up. After the hike, visit the Archaeology and Paleontology Museum and Santa Lucia de Mucuruba Church. Then drive 1.5 hours to your hotel near Chicamocha National Park.

Chicamocha National Park and Flight to Medellín
Spend the day exploring Chicamocha National Park, located in a canyon that's actually deeper than Arizona's Grand Canyon. You'll hike through trails with various ferns, see fountains and waterfalls, and take a cable car ride for views of the canyon. Later, drive back to Bucaramanga and fly to Medellín, known as the City of Eternal Spring.

Medellín City Tour
After breakfast, go through Museo de Antioquia and the Museum of Modern Art, then head to Pueblito Paisa to see what's there. Next, take the Metrocable to Comuna 13, a neighborhood that's been transformed and is now known for its inspiring street art and graffiti. Your guide will help you understand the artworks and the stories behind them.

- Day 8
Guatapé and El Peñol
Leave early in the morning for a 2-hour drive to Guatapé, a colonial town with colorful houses decorated in bas-relief sitting beside a reservoir. You'll climb over 740 steps to reach the top of El Peñol, a 200-meter-tall rock formation, and take in the landscape views from up there. After coming down, walk through the town streets to see the brightly painted houses, cafes, and boutiques.
