- Day 1
Dublin
You'll check in at your hotel and meet up with your tour group for an afternoon orientation drive through Dublin. The route takes you past O'Connell Street, Georgian squares, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Trinity College to get oriented with the city. If you're interested, there's an optional evening visit to the Guinness Storehouse where you can have a tasting and dinner.

Dublin to Belfast
Head northbound through the Boyne Valley to see its prehistoric passage graves, then cross into Northern Ireland. You'll pass the Mountains of Mourne on the way to Belfast. Before arriving, you'll stop in Downpatrick to visit the burial place of St. Patrick. Belfast is your destination for the night, where the Titanic was built. An optional living history tour is available, including the Titanic Belfast Experience if you want more detail about the ship's history.

Belfast to Sligo
Start with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Giant's Causeway to see its distinctive basalt columns. From there, head to Derry before crossing back into the Republic to explore Donegal, the ancient Viking-founded town. The drive takes you along scenic Donegal Bay with its fishing ports and hidden beaches before you arrive in Sligo for the night.

Sligo to Galway to Ennis
Travel south to Galway, a seaside city with vibrant shops, cafes, and bars where you can walk around and get a feel for the place. After that, you'll cross the limestone plateau of The Burren and visit the Cliffs of Moher, which rise 668 feet above the ocean. An optional medieval banquet experience is available at an original Irish castle if you want a 4-course feast with wine, music, and storytelling.

Ennis to Killarney
Start by strolling through Adare village to see its prize-winning thatched cottages. Then explore the Dingle Peninsula on the 32-mile Slea Head drive, which offers magnificent Atlantic Ocean vistas. You'll see the Blasket Islands and learn about how people lived there and their literary heritage before evacuation in 1953. Later you'll arrive in Killarney for the next two nights.

Killarney
Join the Ring of Kerry at Killorglin for a 100-mile coastal panoramic drive with seascapes, mountains, brightly painted farmhouses, and spectacular views of the Lakes of Killarney from Ladies View. When you return to Killarney, you can take an optional horse-drawn jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park to Ross Castle on the shores of Lough Leane.

Killarney to Tramore
Head over the Kerry Mountains into County Cork. You'll stop in Blarney to visit the castle and shop for Irish crafts and handmade crystal around the famous Stone of Eloquence. From there, drive past Cork city and arrive in Waterford for a guided tour of the House of Waterford Crystal. Later you'll settle in at the seaside resort of Tramore with an optional early evening visit to a traditional pub with local musician.
