- Day 1
Colombo to Kandy
You'll land at Colombo International Airport and begin a 3-4 hour drive to Kandy. After getting settled at your accommodation, head over to Peradeniya Botanical Gardens for a leisurely walk through the grounds. Then spend some time around Kandy Lake before the evening. Later, make your way to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which is one of Sri Lanka's most significant Buddhist sites and a key stop for anyone visiting the area.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Check out this morning and drive toward Nuwara Eliya, which takes about 2-3 hours. On the way, stop at Ramboda Falls to take photos and enjoy the views. Once you arrive and check in, you'll explore this hill resort town sitting at around 2000m elevation, known for its English-style architecture and tea plantations nearby. Visit Ramboda Hanuman Temple, tour a working tea factory, and see Sita Amman Temple. By evening you can relax and enjoy the cooler weather up in the hills.

Nuwara Eliya to Colombo
After checking out, you'll head toward Colombo for approximately 4-5 hours. Along the route, stop at Devon Falls or St. Clair's Falls to photograph these waterfalls. Once in Colombo and settled at your hotel, explore the city starting with Pettah Market to see local life and pick up clothing, spices, and souvenirs. Later, take a stroll along Galle Face Green, which is a popular oceanside promenade, and check out the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in the area.
