The whole experience was seamless. Supera seems to be a very good company with good prompt feedback at the planning stage. Eriko was an outstanding tour guide. She was knowledgeable, helpful, funny, kind and incredibly hardworking. I can't speak too highly of her. The food and accommodation surpassed my expectations as did the way the s company structured the tour. I highly recommend the Japan tour with Eriko.

This tour was fantastic. The tour owners are foodies so we were told and it showed. The tour itself was terrific and well organized but on top of that the restaurant and other food choices etc. were just stellar.

I toured with my sons, aged 18 and 21. The whole tour was perfectly paced. Comfortable accommodations in great locations including a couple nights in traditional rooms. Outstanding food every meal. Visited temples, shrines and castles everyone needs to see. Even touristy-experiences (rickshaw ride, silk dyeing, dressing in kimono in Iyashi No Sato, which we were reluctant to remove!) were entertaining. We were not prepared for the incredible awe of the Itchiku Kubota museum. We took advantage of onsens whenever we could. We watched the sun rise on Mt Fuji and visited Kiyomizu Temple in perfect light, before the crowds arrived. I took private time to visit the Hoshun-in bonsai garden at Daitoku-ji Temple in Kyoto and had the entire garden to myself for an hour. Our guide Eriko was extremely well-versed, adaptable and gracious. We learned so much about the Sengoku and Edo periods, as well as the Meiji restoration and even 20th/21st century Japan. For a first introduction to this fascinating and ancient part of the world this tour far exceeded my expectations. Supera found all the right touches and class without any wasted effort. I couldn’t recommend this tour higher - extremely well done from start to finish.

We had heard and read many good things about Supera's tour package. Thankfully, the reviews were true! The accommodations were top-notch and spacious. Meals were of high quality and portions were more than adequate. The tours were a good mix of the main attractions of each region, and while some places were inevitably touristy, we never felt pressured to buy anything. The walking tours of Kyoto were definitely highlights. Thanks also to our indomitable, energetic and always-optimistic guide Hiroko!

    Tour Details
    • Supera ToursOperatorWritten September 2024

We recommend our Japan Classics: Kanto and Kansai tour (9 days 8 nights). This tour covers the major highlights of the country most first-time travelers want to see. The tour begins in Tokyo, we then stay near a Japanese style inn near Mt. Fuji. After returning to Tokyo we will take the Shinkansen as a group down to Kyoto, and continue to explore the Kansai region in Nara, and Osaka. We also offer our Kansai: Heart of Culture tour. This tour is 6 days and 5 nights and is the same itinerary as the Kansai portion of our Classics tour. Our tours are all inclusive of hotels, meals, all on tour transportation, local gratuities, and all items listed in the itinerary.

I am writing to discuss the tour charges for our upcoming trip to japan. We would prefer a less luxurious option and do not require a guide for our travels. Could you please let us know the best rate you can offer $3000 to $3500 per person?

    • Supera ToursOperatorWritten September 2024

At Supera Tours we specialize in guided high-end tours with luxury hotels and unique restaurants. Our Kansai tour is $2600 to $2900 per person based on seasonality. This tour is all inclusive with the exception of airfare. We apologize we cannot offer a tour without a guide. This tour is 7 days and 5 nights. Many of our guests feel the land-tour price is of great value tor the all inclusive packages we offer.
