    Getting picked up at Ho Chi Minh City airport and heading straight to your hotel. After settling in around noon, you'll meet your tour guide in the lobby at 5 PM for a quick briefing before heading out for welcome dinner.

    Ho Chi Minh City

    Morning starts with a sightseeing tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, where you'll walk through the extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. After lunch back in the city, you'll check out Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market.

    Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Be

    Getting picked up around 7:30 AM for the drive to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta. After checking into Coco Riverside Lodge and having lunch, you'll explore the village by bicycle, stopping at Mr. Cong's home for a rice-popping demonstration, visiting a dragon fruit or orange plantation, and catching the sunset. Later there's a traditional cooking class for Vietnamese pancakes, then dinner at the lodge.

    After breakfast, you're heading out on boats to see the local squatting market and watch coconut transport and processing at factories. You'll take local ferries to the Cao Dai temple, and if time allows, help with harvesting water coconut leaves and learn traditional weaving techniques for making poon sticks. Then it's lunch on the way back to Ho Chi Minh City.

    Hoi An

    Spending the morning on a leisure walking tour through Hoi An to take in the heritage. You'll see the Japanese Merchant Houses, the famous Japanese bridge, Chinese temples, ancient houses, and pagodas with your guide. After returning to your hotel, the afternoon is free for your own exploration.

    Hoi An

    Your guide and driver pick you up to head to Ngu Hanh Son, also called Marble Mountain, where you'll explore caves and get views from the summit. You'll also check out pagodas and a local sculpting village. Later, you're stopping at the Cham Museum to see rare artifacts from the Cham Culture.

    At 10 AM, heading along Highway 1A toward Hue with stops to see great views. You'll stop at Lang Co Beach to the north and get views of Danang City to the south before arriving in Hue for the night.

    Hue

    After breakfast, cycling out to the countryside toward the roofed Thanh Toan Bridge with stops at small villages and green fields. You'll see the Thanh Toan Agricultural Museum and local market, then continue through traditional villages known for conical hats and crafts. Back in the city for lunch at a garden house with Hue's local cuisine. The afternoon includes the Imperial Citadel and Hue Royal Fine Art Museum in the former royal palace, ending at Dong Ba Market.

    Hanoi

    Starting with Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his stilt house, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then visiting the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university built as a temple to Confucius. After lunch, you're exploring the Museum of Ethnology. In the evening, a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter and a water puppet show, then your driver takes you to the train station for an overnight train to Lao Cai.

    Lao Cai to Sa Pa

    Waking up as the train pulls into Lao Cai Railway Station with views of valleys and rice paddies. A local guide picks you up and transfers you to Sa Pa for breakfast. Then you're trekking to Cat Cat and Y Linh Ho villages where Black H'mong hill tribe people live. You'll see a waterfall and hydroelectric station, trek through rice terraces in Muong Hoa valley, stop for lunch, then head to Lao Chai village before returning to Sa Pa.

    After breakfast, your driver and guide take you to Silver Waterfall to see Hoang Lien National Park. Then driving uphill to Heavens Gate, the highest road section in Vietnam and the border between Lao Cai and Lai Chau. In the afternoon, returning to pick up luggage before heading to Lao Cai to catch the night train back to Hanoi.

    Hanoi to Ha Long Bay

    Arriving at Hanoi train station where your guide picks you up and takes you to your hotel for breakfast. After that, boarding a cruise bus for the 3.5-hour scenic drive to Ha Long Bay through the Red River Delta with a short break. Getting on your classic cruise around midday after a briefing, cruising among limestone islands while eating lunch. After lunch, kayaking around Luon Cave. Later back on the ship, visiting Soi Sim island to swim or relax on the beach. Returning to the boat to freshen up before sunset, dinner on board, and optional squid fishing or socializing.

    Starting with Tai Chi or a photo hunt in the morning, then breakfast. You'll visit Sung Sot Cave, freshen up, and check out. The cruise continues around Ha Long Bay visiting Ba Hang fishing village and Dog Islet. Heading back to harbor for a cooking demonstration and traditional Vietnamese lunch. After lunch, disembarking and getting transferred back to your Hanoi hotel around 5 PM.

    Luang Prabang

    Your guide picks you up in the morning and you're heading to the pier to board a traditional boat along the Mekong toward Pak Ou Cave. This cave holds thousands of Buddhist statues of various sizes with historic cultural value. After a picnic lunch and rest, moving to Kuang Si Waterfall with views of villages and rice paddies along the way. Then transferring back to your Luang Prabang hotel.

    After breakfast, visiting the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom and exploring the Bayon, Baphuon, and Phimeanakas temples, plus the Terraces of the Elephant and Leper King. Lunch at a local restaurant follows. Then checking out Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat, the 7th Wonder of the Ancient World. Climbing Bakheng Hill to watch the sunset over Angkor Wat. Evening includes a buffet dinner with a traditional Cambodian APSARA dance performance.
