Santiago
You'll arrive in Santiago and get picked up from the airport for transfer to your hotel. Later that evening, meet your Travel Director and the rest of the group at a welcome dinner to get everyone acquainted before the trip officially kicks off.

Valparaíso
Head down the coast to Valparaíso and walk through the UNESCO-protected historic center with a local guide who shows you around the church-filled hillsides and the city's unique amphitheatre-shaped layout. After lunch, you'll drive inland to Bodegas RE Winery in the Casablanca Valley for a private wine tasting. The rest of your evening is free to explore town or relax at your leisure.

Calama - San Pedro de Atacama
Make your way to Santiago airport for a flight to Calama, then drive about 2 hours to San Pedro de Atacama. From there, head out on a guided tour through Moon Valley where the otherworldly landscape of dunes, caves, and caverns shows off the region's geological history and unusual rock formations.

San Pedro de Atacama
Start before sunrise to visit El Tatio Geysers, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere at 14,170 feet/4,230 metres in the Andes. You'll see over 70 geysers shooting boiling water and steam into the early morning air, then have breakfast with that incredible backdrop. Afterward, soak in the natural hot springs at Puritama before heading back to your hotel.

San Pedro de Atacama
Spend the day exploring the Atacama Salt Flats, the largest in Chile and one of Earth's driest places covering over 40,000 square miles. Look for Andean and James flamingos hanging out on the shores of Chaxa, Miscanti, and Minque Lagoons. Later, visit Toconao, a traditional colonial village built with volcanic rock, and browse the local handicraft stands where vendors sell alpaca textiles.

Santiago
Travel to the airport and fly back to Santiago. Have lunch at El Galeón restaurant in the Central Market, which is famous for its seafood and local atmosphere. Spend the afternoon walking through Plaza de Armas and checking out the cathedral, then stroll down the iconic Alameda avenue. Cross over the Mapocho River to reach Bellavista, the bohemian neighborhood, and climb up to San Cristóbal Hill for views of the city.

Fly to Punta Arenas and then drive north to Puerto Natales, a small port town that's the main jumping-off point for Torres del Paine National Park. You'll have time to rest when you arrive, then gather for dinner where the chef prepares typical Patagonian dishes known for their spiced meat and fresh seafood preparations.

Puerto Natales
Grab breakfast early, then head out on a glacier cruise to see Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers up close. These ice formations show off Patagonia's raw, untamed character. After getting back, the rest of your day is completely open so you can explore Puerto Natales on your own or just take it easy.

Torres del Paine National Park
Join your Travel Director for a full excursion through Torres del Paine National Park, taking in the turquoise lagoons, glaciers, grasslands, and the three famous granite towers. In the afternoon, pick one activity: learn about the Patagonian cowboy lifestyle from local vaqueros, or visit Reserva Cerro Paine, the region's oldest organic gardens. Tonight there's a special local dining experience with high-quality cuisine.
