- Angela· June 24th, 2025This trip was amazing!!! Beautiful country, accepting and warm people and an absolutely amazing guide! If you do this tour, insist on Khalid! He really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable! If you are looking for an authentic trip and cultural enrichment you wont be disappointed. A couple of things…these hotels have great charm except a couple of them but whilst clean, they are very basic! Do not worry about attire and covering knees/shoulders…Moroccans are very accepting no matter what you wear! Bring hand sanitizer and forget the sleeping bag or any long sleeves (we travelled in June and the sahara was warm even at night!) There is no place to do laundry…bring some detergent with you to wash by hand..clothes soon dry! If you want to drink, buy some alcohol at a liquor store (ask your guide!) and bring it with you (if the tour is small and there is space) Moroccans are happy to put it in the fridge wherever you go and you can take it with to your meal! One glass of wine, if you order, is about 90MAD or $9US if you are able to order though but most places do not serve alcohol. Bring plenty of sunscreen…you will need it! Do not pet the stray dogs or cats for safety! Welcome to Morocco!Show more

- Richard· April 13th, 2025Khalid, the guide, and Hussein, the driver were both excellent. Having a small group was a real plus. Mostly enjoyed the smaller, less touristy places more than the large cities. The Medina's were nice.Show more

Asked on August 2nd, 2024Would you be able to help with booking flights?
- Nomadic ToursOperator•Written August 2024
Unfortunately, we do not book flights so you would need to arrange these separately.

Traveler•Written October 2023The trip would be for just me and my daughter, 9, and I'm wanting to take her on an adventure, so I'm looking for something with more of a focus on mountains and desert. Is this tour the best one for that in your opinion?
- Nomadic ToursOperator•Written October 2023
This tour ticks the desert box, but only traverses the Atlas mountains, but does go via Todra Gorge, Ait Benhaddou. It is quite encompassing I would say. You could add an extra couple of days at the start, end of your tour to venture up to Ourika valley for example.

Traveler•Written October 2023I'd only really have between February 17th and 24th as we're limited by half term. So if I wanted to book this, how much would it be for the two of us and when would I need to pay?
- Nomadic ToursOperator•Written October 2023
For the CK9 tour starting 17th Feb and ending on the 25th Feb, it would cost £699 for you and £425 for your daughter. The tipping kitty is paid locally and only adults pay this.

Asked on May 12th, 2023Are your groups normally large? I am Muslim and need to pray 5 times a day. Is this possible according to travel program? Can you recommend August or better in autumn?
- Nomadic ToursOperator•Written May 2023
The trip you selected is a family trip so you must travel with a child aged 5-16. August will be quieter than Sept or Oct as they are the most popular months to travel as it is not as hot. Our guides are also Muslim so you will be able to find time during stops to pray.
