Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi
You'll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and get transferred to your Nairobi hotel. Spend the afternoon and evening relaxing after your journey. Later, you'll meet your driver guide and other travelers for a briefing session, then sit down to a traditional dinner that officially starts your Kenyan adventure.

- Day 2
Nairobi
The day is yours to explore Nairobi however you'd like. If you want structure, join the Nairobi City Tour to hit the main sights, or go off on your own to wander around at your pace. Come evening, food lovers can head to Carnivore Restaurant, which serves some pretty unusual options like crocodile and ostrich meat that you won't find everywhere.

- Day 3
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
You'll head out from Nairobi toward Amboseli National Park for your first real safari experience. After you settle into your lodge on the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance, an afternoon safari gets you out looking for wildlife. The landscape here is home to the Maasai people and plenty of animals you'll want to spot.

Amboseli National Park
Early morning means heading straight out on safari through Amboseli to search for leopards, cheetahs, and lions. You'll see African elephants moving through the salty dust and tall grasses as the sun comes up. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch with those snow-capped Kilimanjaro peaks as your view, then keep going on an afternoon safari before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

Lake Elementaita
The journey takes you to Lake Elementaita, a calm UNESCO site located in the Great Rift Valley known for incredible bird watching. From your campground, you can spot Great White pelicans, both types of flamingos, yellow-billed storks, and African spoonbills. This day is perfect if you're into birds and nature.

Start with a leisurely breakfast while looking out over Lake Elementaita. After that, you'll travel onward to Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations. Get settled into your lodge and prepare for the safaris coming up.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your driver guide takes you through the Maasai Mara searching for the Big 5. You'll have a picnic lunch out in the wilderness, then keep going with an afternoon safari. If you're traveling between June and October, there's a chance to see the Great Migration. Alternatively, visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture and way of life.

Say goodbye to the Maasai Mara and head back to Nairobi with all your wildlife memories. Spend a quiet afternoon at your hotel before your evening flight. If you want more time in Nairobi for shopping and exploring, you could stay another night and fly out the following evening instead.
