- CACorinne· November 2nd, 2024Don't waste your time and money on this tour, if you can call it a tour. Out of 10 days I had 3.5 days on my own. This wasn't a tour with other people like I thought it would be. You are paying commissions to two travel agencies (City of Sultans and Tourradar). All you got were accommodations, transportation, and local tours; this you can book on your own for way cheaper. It was supposed to come with transfers from the AP. I arrived in Istanbul by train and they wouldn't accommodate me with transfer. A huge rip off.Show moreCity of Sultans commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your feedback about your recent experience with our tour. - LYLaw· September 13th, 2024This is a tour which includes the day tours, domestic flights, hotels and pick-up services of the above items as stated in the itinerary. There was not a same tour guide appear physically throughout the trip. Instead, the tour operator would inform you the pick-up time on next day everyday, and you would be joining groups composed of different tourists everyday. As the groups generally won’t be in a large size, the day tours usually ended earlier and it allowed more time for rest or arrangement of personal activities. For me as a youngster, this means of traveling gave me more freedom and flexibility which I enjoyed. Nevertheless, elderly tourists with less travelling experience may find difficulties as they need to handle lots of procedures, e.g. checking-in the flights in airports, by themselves. One thing that the tour operator may do to facilitate the experience is that they may provide options of the flight time for the domestic flights, as some domestic flights booked by them may not be the best for allowing exploration in city or rest in hotel. I also appreciated the work of Fatih and Deger, tour guides for the Istanbul Day Tour and Ephesus/Pamukkale Tours respectively, for their great work in illustrating stories behind the spots and care on the participants.Show moreCity of Sultans commented on this reviewThank you very much for choosing our services. - VRVictor· January 7th, 2024Our family, my husband, myself and our university-age daughters, had a fabulous time in Turkey. We had great food, accommodations and transportation. The guides were wonderful particularly Rose in Cappadocia who was excellent at sharing the history of this amazing region. It was a special tour for us that we will always remember.Show moreCity of Sultans commented on this reviewThank you very much for choosing our services. It was our great pleasure to serve you. - Sunil· November 13th, 2020Really enjoyed this tour of Turkey - so many amazing sights (Ephesus, Capadoccia, Pummalake) and very well organised. Ozgur was in touch daily with updates to the itinerary. All domestic flights were straightforward too. The optional extra Capadoccia balloon ride will live in my memory forever!! The hotels are fine - more 3* than 4* - but the service and breakfasts were great. I would have preferred if the hotel on the final day in Istanbul was in Beyoğlu for some variety, but just a minor quibble! Definitely worth considering if you are looking for somewhere to have a holiday - no quarantine required on arrival in Turkey (Nov 20).Show moreCity of Sultans commented on this reviewThank you very much for choosing our services, and for the great feedback.
