Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangalore to Shravanabelagola
You'll head out from Bangalore at 8:00 AM for the drive to Shravanabelagola, which takes about three hours to cover the 150 kilometers. By 11:00 AM you'll be there and ready to tackle the Bahubali Statue on Vindhyagiri Hill, which means climbing over 600 steps to reach the 58-foot monolithic statue at the top. After that, there's time to walk through the ancient Jain temples scattered around town. Later you'll check out Chandragiri Hill and visit Bhadrabahu Cave, where you get good views of the surrounding area. Around 1:00 PM grab a traditional vegetarian lunch (you'll pay separately for this), then start the drive back to Bangalore, arriving around 5:00 PM.
