- AWAnn· July 14th, 2025Great trip. Clive was excellent. Very knowledgeable, helpful and chose some lovely places to take us. Bed and breakfast also very nice.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- IVIngrid· October 20th, 2024Really enjoyed this 3 day tour - our guide, Clive, being an especially great asset to the entire proceedings. Recent wet weather causing road closures affected our itinerary as did rain on our 3rd day. But thankfully Clive was able to adapt it such that we didn't feel we missed out at all. The commentary was lively and well-informed. The places visited were interesting. Accommodation was good (although a double bed would have been nice for this single traveller)Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- CHCarolyn· September 9th, 2024We had a wonderful time on our tour of the Lake District! Our tour guide, Clive, was so knowledgeable about the area and was very flexible as to what sights to see. He took very good care of us.Show moreTrip date: August 2024
- JHJennifer· July 19th, 2024We weren't sure what to expect by this tour because we aren't the kind of travelers who usually book tours, but we knew we couldn't drive in the UK as US drives unfamiliar with the roads and that was true for I think anyone but our driver, Clive, who expertly navigated roads and road diversions with aplomb. He was also kind and lovely and informative and funny and welcoming and warm and full of stories that enhanced the journey. He was a perfect tour guide and driver. Flexible with our needs, complimentary with our punctuality (and we were blessed to have a punctual group) and my fellow tour group members were also lovely and delightful and I feel we really lucked out with an excellent group, but most especially with Clive -- give the man a raise!Show moreTrip date: July 2024
- WMWai Yin· July 11th, 2024We were dropped in different villages each for 1 to 1.5 hrs in 3 days but some are obviously too small and have not much to see, especially in rainy days. I would like to spend more time in big villages such as Ambleside and Bowness. However, we had to skip our lunch for more sight seeing time at these interesting villages with various tourist spots.Show moreTrip date: July 2024
- EFElizabeth· June 24th, 2024Very well organized and the pace was perfect.Show moreTrip date: May 2024
- LSLoretta· April 28th, 2024This was my first experience with Tour Radar and in particular Rabbie’s Tours which was the actual tour operator in England : it was all very good, the guide was excellent (Stuart, assisted by Adam, even took us to places that were not initially programmed but turned out to be very much worth visiting such as Langdale pikes which even ended up being our group’s favourite !), the itinerary and the accommodation extremely satisfying, and the overall organization really good !Show moreTrip date: April 2024
judy· October 8th, 2023We had a great trip. Ouf tour guide Chris couldn’t have been mord pleasing, caring and committed to making our trip as enjoyable as possible. He was an excellent driver , very safe and mindful of our comfort. Also we were blessed with the flexibility of thd tour in very wet conditions.Show moreTrip date: October 2023- SCSoumi· September 1st, 2023Had a lovely time. - KWKathryn· August 6th, 2023James 2 made my tour wonderful! He found all sorts of secret, surprise places to visit and was extremely knowledgeable about what we were viewing and the history of each area. He was so friendly and as a lone traveller (there was only me on the tour!) he made me feel very relaxed as if I were travelling with a good friend! Thank you James 2!!Show moreTrip date: August 2023
