Our tour guide for Meteora, George, was exceptional, knowledgeable and even philosophical. Meteora was stunningly beautiful. Our day trip guide in Athens was excellent too. Our excursion in Santorini was terrific! We enjoyed the boat, the views, the islands and jumping into the Aegean. All of our hotels were top notch. There were two downsides. One was only having 20 minutes for breakfasts in Athens because our tours started at 7:30 & breakfast opened at 7:00. Then we sat on the bus for an hour and a half while we collected other passengers. The other downside was the evening excursion of viewing the acropolis at night and a dinner with a traditional dance show. This involved a two hour bus ride, a surly guide, a venue that was extremely overcrowded, bad food, and a not at all entertaining show. Plus they ran out of wine. But as a whole I would totally recommend this tour but without the evening excursion.

The tour itself was quite well organised…transfers went well, hotels selected were fine (we would have been filthy to have had the ‘out of town’ option in Kalampaka as you would have missed a great little town). There is the usual ‘special presentation’ from the random on the way roadside specialised artist and the stitch up for lunch/ smoko at a roadhouse/ restaurant with overpriced food and drinks with nowhere else to buy from etc. The main disappointment was having our luggage broken and needing to be replaced (one significant crack in the hard case wheel). Despite providing evidence of the crack to the provider within 10 mins of being dropped at our hotel at the end of a two day bus tour (including a still image from a short video of the driver loading the luggage of others with zero care/ literally throwing bags/ cases into the undercarriage storage) the tour provider/ contractor refused to accept responsibility for the replacement costs of the bag. The main reason being we did not point this out the driver immediately upon the drop off. This would have meant needing to inspect our luggage on the footpath, in the dark, while another 30 or so tour participants waited on the bus. Ludicrous!!! The replacement would have been less than 5% of what we paid for the tour (ie they still would have made a craptonnne of money from us) and way less than their kickbacks from the dodgy places that they made us eat/ drink over the tour stops. Very disappointing and definitely will not use this company again/ would not recommend them as principled providers who care about their customers.

All the tour activities were executed near perfectly per plan, from the pick-up at the airport, to the scheduled tour bus pick-ups, to the taxi transfers. The hotels that we stayed-in in Athens, Kalambaka and Santorini were clean and neat - all met or exceeded our expectations. The assigned tour guides evidently loved what they were doing and shared their knowledge with passion and humor. Only two issues that I have to point out for others to beware: - The walk-paths on the archeological sites can be very steep, narrow and mostly lack guard rails. With the massive crowds on these paths, they are accidents begging to happen. The climb up to the Parthenon from the road is particularly treacherous - they've used marble paving stones all the way up. Smooth as glass, I wonder how anyone can navigate this path when even slightly wet or snowy. - The whole deck on the Piraeus-Santorini ferry is a smoking zone as it became apparent to us. It was horrible. It was impossible to find a seating position where one can relax and enjoy the otherwise splendid views of the ride without being ruined by some random passenger lighting a cigarette on the next table - even with hordes of young children around. We spent most of the time shifting from one table to another in hope to find some fresh air - it was a miserable experience.

We selected 3-star hotels: The Jason Inn In Athens was good, friendly staff, good location. The Hotel in Santorini ,Sunrise Hotel was very good. A small boutique hotel with lots of character. The staff was very friendly. "Alexander the great "gave us lots of good information. The location is good too, near Thira town. The hotel in Kalampaka, Kosta Famissi was not good. We arrived late and they gave me a room where the bathroom was full of mold. You could smell it in the whole room. In Kalampaka , seeing the monasteries was great but the icon plaque factory/store was not necessary. Most people are not interested . It was a waste of time.

The tour in Athens was ok, although the information the tour guide shared was repetitive. I think I heard the story about Oedipus marrying his mother 3 or 4 times. Another thing was that one day, the bus dropped us off a block away from the hotel in a very sketchy part of the city, and we had to walk with the luggage for about 6 minutes to get to the hotel. In my previous experience, we were always dropped off in front of the hotel. Other than that, it was an enjoyable time with my family.

This tour served as a basic plan for our trip to Greece, which we supplemented with other activities. We chose the 3 star hotel package. The Athens hotel (where we spent 4 nights) was clean and adequate and located just a short cab ride away from the Acropolis and other attractions. The hotel in Kalambaka was better, and the hotel in Santorini was delightful. Our drivers/guides picked us up and dropped us off on time. We enjoyed the included activities, and there was plenty of time in Athens and in Santorini to schedule additional tours tailored to our interests (a food tour in Athens and a ride on the funicular; walking tour of Oia and a catamaran cruise in Santorini).

I live in the Western North Carolina Mountains, which is currently a disaster zone due to the impact of Hurricane Helene. After 6 days I still have no electricity, almost non-existent cell/ internet service and we are struggling in the region to find food, water, fuel, etc. Our airport in Asheville is still not able to receive all commercial flights, and it is very doubtful that I could get to it anyway, as I lost my entire road. Click Tours has refused to even allow me to postpone my fully paid trip to a later date and has denied all attempts to reschedule / refund over $2000 that I paid. They said the best they could do was a 5% discount on a future tour. Unbelievably callous and greedy. I will NEVER book with them again.

I am interested in the Highlights of Greece tour, but was wondering about a few things. How could my friend and I add a night to the tour, how much it would be, and what we would do for that extra day? I am looking to take the trip Sept. 10th- 18th. I have never booked with you all and am a bit nervous about how accurate the itinerary will be from what it says online as well, is it typically pretty accurate? This tour would be a pretty good mix of Greece's history, culture, and activities as well as swim/ leisure time, correct?
