Itinerary
- Day 1
Islamabad to Besham/Narran
You'll arrive in Islamabad and connect with your guide for the drive to Taxila. Once there, you'll walk through ancient Buddhist ruins including Sirkup city and Julian monastery, then check out the site museum to understand what you've seen. After grabbing lunch, the drive continues along the Karakoram Highway through Mansehra District valleys before settling in for the night.

Besham/Narran to Gilgit
An early morning drive takes you to Gilgit following the historic Silk Route through the Indus River gorge. You'll stop to see rock carvings at Shatial, have lunch at Chilas, then head to Thalichi viewpoint where Nanga Parbat and Rakaposhi come into view. The road continues north to where three major mountain ranges meet before you reach Gilgit for the evening.

Gilgit to Karimabad (Hunza Valley)
You'll cross a suspension bridge to reach Kargah and see the 7th century Buddha rock carving. From there, the drive takes you through Hunza Valley along the original Silk Route, with a stop at Rakaposhi viewpoint. You arrive in Karimabad, the capital of Hunza Valley, where you'll stay for the night.

Karimabad (Hunza Valley)
This day is yours to explore Karimabad and Hunza Valley at your own pace. Short walks to Altit and Baltit forts are options, or you can wander through the bazaar. Walking to Ultar Glacier by following irrigation channels through the village offers another choice. Throughout the day, Karakoram peaks surround the valley and frame the scenery.

- Day 5
Karimabad to Passu
A short drive takes you into the heart of the Karakorams where you'll visit Gulmit village to see the polo ground and historic houses. From there, you'll trek to Gulkin glaciers and Borit Lake. Later, you transfer to Passu, a village with Passu Cones rising nearby and glaciers visible from your lodge for the evening.

Passu
Early morning, you'll walk to Passu Glacier and Passu Lake with surrounding peaks creating a dramatic backdrop. After returning to the lodge for lunch, you head out to see the famous 800-foot suspension bridges over the Hunza River that local people still use to cross.

- Day 7
Passu to Besham/Narran
The drive back follows the Karakoram Highway alongside the Hunza River with Karakoram peaks visible throughout. By evening, you'll be settled on the banks of the Indus River at Besham or Narran for the night.

Besham/Narran to Islamabad
An early morning drive along the Karakoram Highway heads back toward Islamabad with a lunch stop in Abbottabad. From there, you transfer to the airport to catch your flight home, ending your journey through the mountains and valleys.
