Atlanta
You'll arrive in Atlanta and settle into your hotel. Later that evening, meet the group for welcome drinks at the hotel bar to get to know your fellow travelers and start the tour off right.

Atlanta
After breakfast, you'll head to the Atlanta History Center for a guided tour through the city's past and heritage. The rest of the day is yours to wander around Downtown Atlanta and find the landmarks and local spots you want to see. Atlanta to Athens
You'll travel to Athens, Georgia after breakfast, a small town known for its active arts community. Once you arrive, you'll have time to walk around on your own and check out the area at your pace. After settling into your hotel, the evening is open for you to explore downtown Athens with its independent shops, cafes, and bars.

Athens to Charlotte
You'll cross into North Carolina and pull into Charlotte. The afternoon is free for you to walk through the city's streets and see attractions on your own schedule. Later, you'll experience Charlotte's dining scene and live music venues, getting a feel for the local Southern hospitality and energy.

Charlotte
Today is yours to explore Charlotte however you like. You can stroll the busy streets and visit museums and attractions, or if you prefer something more relaxed, take a horse and carriage ride through the historic areas of the city.

Charlotte to Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach
You have another full day in Myrtle Beach with your time split however you want. Walk the beaches, hunt through shops for things you like, or try some Southern food. As evening comes, you can catch a show at one of the theaters or head to a bar or club with live music.

Myrtle Beach to Charleston
You'll travel deeper into South Carolina with a lunch stop in Columbia and a visit to a local moonshine distillery where you'll learn about the distilling tradition. After that, you'll continue to Charleston, check in at your hotel, and spend the evening walking the historic downtown with its old streets and Lowcountry charm.

Charleston
You'll tour Fort Sumter, the site where the Civil War began, and see the National Monument and Museum there. From there, you'll take a scenic ferry to Patriots Point and walk through the USS Yorktown. The rest of your day is free to try restaurants, shop, and see what downtown Charleston has to offer.

Charleston to Savannah
After breakfast, you'll leave Charleston and head to Savannah with a stop at Tybee Island along the way. There you'll check out the island's history, walk the Pier and Pavilion, and see the Tybee Island Lighthouse. It's a short 30-minute drive to Savannah after that, where you'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore River Street or the historic areas.

Savannah to Macon
After breakfast, you'll drive to Macon, Georgia, a city with a strong music history and Southern character. You'll visit Capricorn Music Studios where Southern rock got its start, then the Big House Museum, where the Allman Brothers lived. Later, you can explore Macon's downtown with its live music venues, restaurants, and local vibe.

Macon to Stone Mountain
You'll have a group brunch at the Whistle Stop Cafe in Juliette, the filming location from Fried Green Tomatoes. Then you'll head to Stone Mountain Park to see the mountain and learn about its history. Back at your hotel in the evening, you'll have time to relax before your final night out in an entertainment area.
