Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and head to your hotel in the Old Quarter. Once you check in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the neighborhood, stop by Hoan Kiem Lake, or check out the night market downtown. It's a good chance to get your bearings and soak in the local atmosphere without any rushed plans.

Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Hanoi
Early pickup takes you out to Ninh Binh province for a full day. First you'll see the historic capital at Hoa Lu and explore its ancient temples. Then comes the boat part through Trang An cave complex, paddling through Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou. Later you'll tackle 500 steps climbing up Mua Cave where you get panoramic views of Tam Coc and the surrounding rice fields. The drive back to Hanoi happens in the evening.

Hanoi to Sapa
An early morning limousine ride takes you to Sapa, getting there by midday. You'll notice locals wearing colorful traditional costumes throughout town. After lunch featuring local Vietnamese dishes and checking into your hotel, a guide leads a short trek to Cat Cat village where Black H'mong ethnic people live. The trek continues down into the valley to visit a waterfall and the French Hydraulic Power Station before heading back to Sapa town. Dinner happens at your hotel.

Sapa to Hanoi
Following breakfast, you head out for a full day trekking through rice terraces and alongside Muong Hoa Stream. The route goes from Sapa toward Y Linh Ho and through the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. You'll have a picnic lunch in the village, then trek onward to Ta Van village where Dzay ethnic people live. A bus takes you back to Sapa so you can freshen up at the hotel before the limousine drives you back to Hanoi.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll travel through countryside and farmlands heading toward Halong Bay. Boarding happens at Tuan Chau Marina where you meet the captain and crew, then check into your cabin. Lunch starts as the cruise sets sail. During the afternoon, you visit Surprising Cave, then head to Titop Island for swimming, snorkeling, or a quick trek to the island top for views. After the sunset party on the sundeck, dinner features authentic Vietnamese dishes. Evening options include the bar, reading, games, movies, or trying your hand at squid fishing.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Early risers can join tai chi on the sundeck. Local breakfast comes next, followed by sailing through limestone islets to Luon Cave where kayaking or bamboo boat exploration works. You'll check out your cabin at your own pace while the cruise passes by natural highlights. Before an early lunch, there's a cooking demonstration teaching you how to make spring rolls. Then you disembark and transfer back to Hanoi, arriving around 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
