Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Marrakesh to Imlil

You'll arrive in Marrakesh and meet your host who arranges a transfer to Imlil valley. The drive takes you up to 1775m altitude, which gives your body a chance to start adjusting to the elevation before things get going.

    Landmarks/POIs
    Mount Toubkal
  2. Day 2

    Imlil to Tizi n'Test

Start the morning on the roof terrace with breakfast while looking out at Mt Toubkal. From there you'll cycle down to Asni town where there's an optional souk visit if you're interested. The ride continues toward Ouirgane valley and then climbs up to Tizi n'Test pass. That narrow, winding road delivers sweeping views that you really need to experience from a bike. You'll spend the night near the top of the pass.

    Meals
Breakfast (Breakfast on the roof terrace with panoramic views on Mt Toubkal), Lunch, Dinner

    Included Activities

    • Breakfast on roof terrace with panoramic Mt Toubkal views
    • Guided bike ride from Imlil to Tizi n'Test (104 km)
    • Optional visit to Asni souk (local market)

    Optional Activities

  3. Day 3

    Tizi n'Test to Taliouine

This morning involves a descent off Tizi n'Test pass down to the Souss plain, and the views on the way down are incredible. From there you'll cycle across the base of the Atlas toward Taliouine, an oasis town known for saffron production. It's a flatter day overall, much easier than yesterday, and you're riding through a really remote section of the country. You'll sleep in Taliouine tonight.

    Meals
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Included Activities

    • Guided bike ride from Tizi n'Test to Taliouine (109 km)
    Landmarks/POIs
    Taliouine
  4. Day 4

    Taliouine to Ouarzazate

Today brings rolling terrain throughout the ride. You'll head out at 9am for a full day on the bike with a lunch break and regular snacks at feed stations along the way. This section is the most remote part of your trip, and support vehicles are there if you need to skip any portions. By evening you'll arrive in Ouarzazate, an ancient town where you have time to explore.

    Meals
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Included Activities

The ride finishes just outside the city, and then a drive brings you into town. Later that evening there's a walking tour of Marrakesh followed by dinner by the market.

  • 2025 Hidden Gems Gravel Bike Tours in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains reviewer 1
    · December 8th, 2024
I recently joined the Hidden Gems Gravel Trip with MTB Morocco, and let me tell you—it was worth every penny! At first, the price seemed a bit steep, but once you hit the trails with this team, you’ll quickly understand the value. This isn’t your typical touristy tour. These guys are all about the real gravel biking experience. They don’t take you on detours to shops for commissions or try to upsell you at every corner. Instead, they focus entirely on creating an authentic, seamless adventure, showing you the true beauty of Morocco through trails you’d never find on your own. The routes were absolutely stunning—gravel paths winding through hidden valleys, remote villages, and jaw-dropping landscapes. The guides were professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about biking, which made every mile an incredible experience. The high-quality bikes and attention to detail made the trip not only smooth but unforgettable. What really stood out was how much I saved in terms of time and stress. With MTB Morocco, everything is planned perfectly, and their English-speaking team ensures you’re taken care of from start to finish. If you’re thinking of comparing this trip to something cheaper, don’t. You’re paying for expertise, authenticity, and an adventure that will stay with you forever. For any gravel enthusiast looking to explore Morocco’s hidden gems, this is the trip to book. I can’t recommend it enough!
