Asked on August 4th, 2025I am planning to take this tour and have questions about departure time and ending time. My coming flight to arrive Jackson Hole airport is like 4pm. Is it too late? And the returning flight to home is 6:30pm on the last day. Is it too tight since iteneray says it ends 4 to 6pm?
- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written August 2025
The tour begins around 4:30PM on September 5th. We recommend our guests arrive the day prior just in case there are any flight delays. If you wanted to take the tour you could potentially skip the first part of the tour on Day 1. You would be missing out on viewing wildlife in Grand Teton National Park if you were to skip it. On the return, 6:30PM would be cutting it a little close. The tour could return back to Jackson as late as 6:00PM, which would not leave enough time to find transportation to the airport or make it through security.

- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written July 2025
Depending on your interests and the interests of the group, your guide may stop at locations where you an speak with Rangers but we do not include the Ranger Program with any of our tours.

Asked on July 18th, 20251. Will there be time for walking/hiking? 2. On average, how much time will be spent in a vehicle each day? 3. I would prefer not to waste too much time at eateries. Is it possible to pack lunches so that we get more time on the trails? 4. Can we get a king sized bed in a very, very quiet room each night? 5. We would like to be with a fairly active group, is that likely? Or are we more likely to get put with a family with children?
- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written July 2025
1. Will there be time for walking/hiking? - Yes! You will be in and out of the vehicle quite frequently at wildlife sightings and scenic areas in both National Parks. 2. On average, how much time will be spent in a vehicle each day? - I do not have an exact number for you. You are out and about for approximately 12 hours every day and in and out of the vehicle frequently. 3. I would prefer not to waste too much time at eateries. Is it possible to pack lunches so that we get more time on the trails? - Unfortunately we have no way of keeping food fresh for the week. Most meals are quick and preplanned! 4. Can we get a king sized bed in a very, very quiet room each night? - All of our rooms come with double queen beds. I cannot guarantee that they will be very very quiet. If you would prefer a King, we can ask our lodging locations if they have it available. This may come with an extra cost. 5. We would like to be with a fairly active group, is that likely? Or are we more likely to get put with a family with children? - I cannot guarantee who you will be paired with. If this is a worry for you then I would recommend booking a private tour with us! If you were to book a private tour then it would be easier to accommodate the questions / requests above as well.

Asked on June 4th, 2025What size van would we be in for 4 adults? My husband is 6'2" and our son is 6'5"?
- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written June 2025
We use Ford Transit style vans. They are pretty comfortable!
- J
Josephine
Traveler•Written June 2025Do they also have a little step to use before getting into vans?
- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written June 2025
We can definitely make a note to include a step! Most of the vans do have running boards to help, but we can include an additional step to make it easier to get in and out of the vans.

Asked on April 15th, 2025Are you able to give me an approximate of how much a private tour (Yellowstone/Grand Teton 4 days / 3night wildlife adventure would cost, if it was my mom and I? Keeping in mind this would be the Aug 26-Aug 30 date. She is able to walk but maybe not more than 30-40 min in one stretch. We are interested in wildlife, but more interested in the scenery and location.

Traveler•Written April 2025Are all the trips thro the parks on a bus or van? And they let us out at certain intervals to walk a bit and take pictures?
- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written April 2025
The tour will be in an enclosed transit style van or something similar. There is a lot of walking on boardwalks and roads to see the scenic areas and wildlife. I would recommend booking a private tour so that you do not have to worry about other guests on the tour.
- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written April 2025
A private 4Day/3Night tour for 2 people would be approximately $10,995.00. The accommodations are the same for public and private. The first day of the tour starts at approximately 4:00 PM and ends around 8:00PM. Days 2-4 will each begin at 6:30 AM and end between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. With a private tour, the guide can be more accommodating in regard to your interests. You can choose to spend more or less time in certain areas or skip attractions entirely depending on your preferences. You will have opportunities to be in and out of the vehicle and to walk the boardwalks. However, any amount of time spent outside of the vehicle is entirely options.

Traveler•Written December 2024do you expect to have tours set in 2026 around the 10th to 15th?
- BrushBuck Wildlife ToursOperator•Written December 2024
Our start date relies on when the National Park service decides to open Yellowstone National Park. Typically it is the 3rd Friday of April. If that holds true, them we would start our first tour the day before.
