Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your hotel pickup happens around 8:00 AM, then you'll drive south through the Great Rift Valley. There's a scenic stop at a viewpoint where you can take photos and stretch your legs before continuing on. You'll arrive at Masai Mara with enough time for lunch, and after settling in, head out for an evening game drive. This is when you'll start looking for the Big Five and other wildlife across the grasslands and rolling hills, so bring binoculars and your camera.

Masai Mara
This day is all about exploring Masai Mara from morning through evening. You'll have picnic lunches set up in the reserve while searching for the Big Five and taking in views along the Mara River. If you're interested, there's an optional cultural tour to a local Masai village or you can book an early morning hot air balloon safari for a different perspective on the landscape and wildlife below.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After a late breakfast, you'll head to Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch packed for the drive. If time works out, there's a boat ride option at Lake Naivasha to Crescent Island. Once at the park in the afternoon, you can see white and black rhinos, flamingos, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, and leopards. The views of the lake from various points in the park are really nice throughout the day.

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
Starting early with breakfast, you'll spend the morning at Lake Nakuru National Park looking for flamingos and over 350 recorded bird species, plus black and white rhinos, Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and antelope. Later you'll depart for Nairobi with a picnic lunch on the way. By evening you'll be dropped at your hotel, wrapping up your safari experience.
