- Marek· May 18th, 2022Spectacular! From start to finish everything was clear and well organized. Pick up went as planned and the ride was comfortable, the company also stored the rest of our stuff. We were given duffle bags for things that we didn't want or need in our day backs and those were carried by amazing porters, more on them later. We also rented sleeping bags, inflatable pads and tracking poles -everything was in very good condition and served us well. The food throughout the whole trek was just out of this world. I don't know how they managed to cook such an wholesome dishes in conditions that one finds on a hike, but it was incredible, from traditional Peruvian soups, ceviche to cakes (yes, that's right). The guides were always helpful, cheerful and ready to say something interesting. Porters were supporting and the service they provide is unbelievable, we didn't worry about anything (and there is a lot of things to worry about/they provide: food, camps, water, tents and other facilities), because we knew that we can rely on them. We got to see sooo many lovely views, animals, plants and history, while hiking safely and supporting the local people. Inca trail is hard but so worth it. Thank you Trexperience for a chance to be a part of this.Show moreTrip date: April 2022
- Nicholas· May 3rd, 2022Incredible - from start to finish, this was amazing. Adolfo and Yoner, our tour guides, did everything they could to make this a fantastic experience, and Adolfo's Quechua heritage added real depth and knowledge to the trek. And the food... How the chef, Rolando, managed to make so much amazing food (honestly - every meal three courses of better quality than most of the restaurants we ate in pre/post trek) with just the equipment carried by the porters is unbelievable. They even made and decorated a cake for our penultimate day as three of us had big birthdays that month! And as for the Inca Trail itself - magical. If you're interested, I suggest just doing it without researching the route too much, so you don't anticipate the Inca settlements etc that you'll come across along the way, and you'll feel the full impact of the awe inspired by these amazing places - each day better than the last. There are some serious heights and precipitous drops to tackle, but if you're like me and go wobbly at the knees from such things, the route builds you up slowly so by the 4th day you're able to deal with them - and even Huayna Picchu at the end (very much recommended)! All in all, 100% recommended, especially with this team. Just make sure you're fully acclimatised to the altitude before starting this amazing experience.Show moreTrip date: April 2022
- ASAdam· January 3rd, 2022The whole experience was excellent. From introduction to returning us to our hotel. The guide, elisban, and porters took care of everything and the food was unbelievable. I still don't understand how the chef made some of those dishes with a camping stove. I would recommend this company to anyone.Show moreTrip date: December 2021

Asked on June 18th, 2024Why aren't tour showing as 50% off? I went through and select Latin America and a classic Inca trail tour which was advertised as 50% off however I cannot find any dates that are showing that price? Everything is at full price April 2025 two people can I ask why it's advertised at 50% off then if it's only 12% off?
- Ultimate TrekkingOperator•Written June 2024
Our special offer was available only on December 27th and 28th and has unfortunately ended. Since the Inca Trail is an exclusive tour, we had only these two dates at such an incredible deal. However, if you let us know your preferred travel dates, we might be able to offer you a special discount based on availability.

Asked on March 27th, 2024I have a question about Classic Inca Trail To Machu Picchu 4 days. Your site has a special 50% off the original price of $795. However, when I try to reserve it, it shows the full price $795 and 12% discount. How can I book this trip with 50% discount.
- Ultimate TrekkingOperator•Written March 2024
This 2024 season, we're excited to offer a special 50% OFF for bookings only on two exclusive dates: December 29 or December 30. For any other dates in 2024, we're pleased to offer a special discount of 12%.

The average age is 25 to 45 years old; travelers need moderate physical conditions to complete the hike. You will be hiking for around 8 hours on average per day in uneven terrain. We provide comfortable Eureka 4-season tents, foam matress and you need to bring sleeping bags for camping.

Asked on June 15th, 2022Can I still take this trip?
- Ultimate TrekkingOperator•Written June 2022
We dint have age restrictions for this trek, however, it's important to understand that this is a high altitude hiking, everyday we hike for an avera of 8 to 10 hours and the terrain is not even. Inca Trail is full of stairs up and down which makes one of the most difficult hikes in Peru.

Asked on February 13th, 2022we would love to experience classic 4-days Inca trail, but during booking I stumbled upon some ambiguities: a) we can select "twin room", but it should be tent, right ? b) I don't see where I can get/reserve sleeping bags and pads(and then pay the additional price). c) Is it possible to book Huayna Picchu later also through this site or tour ? d) Do we need inflatable air matraces or can we book traditional sleeping pads ?
- Ultimate TrekkingOperator•Written February 2022
May 16th is sold out and it's impossible to get the permits; we can offer you May 13th or May 19th.

Traveler•Written January 2022I would like to know what is the difference between this tour and the other Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu at the price of $495 vs this one at $607? Because these two are operated two different tour companies? Also I need to know which is difficult or strenuous as far as the hiking is concerned and how many miles each day on this program?
- Ultimate TrekkingOperator•Written January 2022
The total distance of the Inca Trail is 26 miles and is considered medium to challenging. Day 1 is 8 miles, Day 2 is 8 miles, Day 3 is 9 miles, Day 4 is 3 miles.
