- Day 1
Arusha to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you'll head out toward Lake Manyara National Park with a stop in Arusha Town to pick up anything you might need. The park sits at the base of the eastern Rift escarpment and features acacia woodlands, water forests, and baobab cliffs along with natural hot springs. You'll see large populations of baboons here, and if you're lucky, spot the tree-climbing lions the area is known for. Plan for roughly 3-4 hours of driving and wildlife viewing.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti
Starting after breakfast, you'll travel to Serengeti National Park by passing through the elevated farmland regions of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you down onto the open plains of the Serengeti, heading toward the Seronera area which has some of the richest wildlife activity in the park. Timing works out so you'll reach camp for lunch, then take an afternoon game drive to see what's around before settling in for the evening.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
You'll start before sunrise for an early morning game drive across the Serengeti plains when animals are most active. After breakfast back at camp, you'll continue with game viewing through the morning hours, then head back by midday for lunch. Before leaving the Serengeti entirely, you'll do a final game drive as the vehicle travels toward Simba Campsite, which sits near the Ngorongoro crater rim about 2 hours away.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Following an early breakfast, you'll descend into Ngorongoro Crater, dropping over 600 meters down into this geological wonder. The crater floor holds everything from wildebeest and zebra to buffalo, elephants, and big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You'll also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake where flamingos, hippos, and various water birds congregate. Late in the afternoon, you'll make the transfer back to Arusha, which takes roughly 3-4 hours depending on traffic.
