- CSChristopher· September 15th, 2025Truly exceptional experience, Alessio was an absolutely fantastic guide and was on hand to help wherever needed. Mr. Pino was an incredible driver amongst some of the absolutely crazy drivers we were unfortunate to witness around major cities particularly Catania and Palermo. Id have to say our highlight was seeing the ancient Greek ruins in Agrigento, also Mt Etna and some of the food was amazing. Was unfortunate not to get to a Street Market like Ballaro or Vucceria when in Palermo as tourists always rave about it. But given this was a landscapes and secrets tour wasn't really an important agenda item which i understood. What helped a lot was that our group as a collective was quite good so it made the trip easier with some great conversations. Id like to thank all the tour guides for their expert knowledge and explanations of Sicilian life and its historic origins. My suggestion is to allow a couple of additional days such as at the spa hotel in Agrigento to enjoy the private beach and pool/facilities and a couple of days stop in Taormina to rest and relax enjoying Blue Grotto & Isola Bella as well as the many bout tours in the area. This breaking up of the tour a little would help people relax and enjoy it a bit more in my opinion, as the pace despite attempts to slow it down, can be fairly frenetic at times.Show more

One was İl Principe in Catania which had e dless plumbing issues.. also breakfast selections were much poorer than other hotels. Rita our tour guide was awesome. At times it was fast paced. My family was younger so it was fine but my older parents found it tiresome. The hotels we stayed at were all lovely and well located. You can tell he loves his job and loves sicily. Our driver, Vino, was exceptional - he got us to our destinations safely, driving was unfussy, and generous in bringing us to hidden spots for better views. Our tour group was excellent (kudos to everyone for always being on time and engaging), and the itinerary was a good mix of informative and free time. Asked on April 26th, 2025I am travelling with a friend -- we considering one of the three tours you have staring from Catania around 19 - 21 June. I noticed there was an option for a shared room .. .but only a double bed. Is a room with twin beds an option or do we need to have separate rooms?
