  This trip covered all the best highlights of Sicily. Rita our tour guide was awesome. At times it was fast paced. My family was younger so it was fine but my older parents found it tiresome. The hotels we stayed at were all lovely and well located. The restaurants that we all ate as a group were very nice. The only thing I would do is maybe less cities and more half days to explore.

  The tour was first class. Itinerary was well thought out also with suitable breaks throughout for independent activity - and the lunchtime meal beaks were good for sampling fine food, for interaction with others in group and to rest weary legs. The guide was a delight - knowledgeable, friendly and with perfect English. The hotels were lovely and well located. Congratulations to EVERBODY involved in the tour - at coal face and in background.

  I had a lot of fun on this trip and am thoroughly grateful. Angelo, our tour guide, was amazing and went above and beyond to help us. You can tell he loves his job and loves sicily. Our driver, Vino, was exceptional - he got us to our destinations safely, driving was unfussy, and generous in bringing us to hidden spots for better views. Our tour group was excellent (kudos to everyone for always being on time and engaging), and the itinerary was a good mix of informative and free time. Improvements: food catered by external restaurants or partnered hotels should be vetted a bit more extensively as there were some included meals that were slightly disappointing.

  Generally speaking the tour was good. Hotels, foods, itinerary, tour guide were all satisfied. the only thing made me unhappy even panic was no taxi driver waiting at Catania airport arrivals although I booked in advance. It's about 22:30, I phoned the emergency number, the lady replied in Italian, we could not understand each other, so she shouted and put down phone. Then I asked an Italian for help. He made a call and got one can speak English. I was told the driver was in a airport bar, then I found the bar was closed and the driver was at outside of the bar, eventually he took me to the hotel, that was very late. The people responds emergency number cannot speak English?! The taxi driver 'with a sign with your surname on it' was not waiting at the arrivals as I was told. What was a shock for a person arrived in Catania first time at late evening and start a tour next morning?!

  It was one of the best tours I have ever been on. It was jam packed with excursions every day and our tour guide Angelo was very knowledgeable, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

  On the whole the tour was good though it felt strenuous at times. The guides and driver did a good job coordinating. The most-used hotel was elegant and well located though it did have problems with air conditioning and hot water. The itinerary could have omitted a few stops, in particular a 2 hour visit to a shopping mall. The mix of travelers was fun. We met people from all over the world.

  Meals need to be improved, especially dinners. Stop at the mall was waist of time. We were not informed about swimming opportunities so we left our swim attire on the bus.
