Itinerary
- Day 1
Reykjavík
You'll land in Reykjavik and start getting to know the city right away. The Sun Voyager and Old Harbour are on your list to check out, then you'll meet up with your travel director and the rest of the group for welcome drinks and canapes. After that, you're heading to the Grand Hotel Reykjavik where you can take in some of the dramatic local artwork displayed throughout the lobby before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Akranes - Reykholt - Borgarnes
Your guide takes you through Reykjavik to see Parliament, Harpa Concert Hall, and Hallgrimskirkja Church. Then you'll drive through the Hvalfj ordur tunnel and head to Akranes to visit the Folk Museum and its lighthouse. From there, you're moving on to Deildartunguhver hot spring and Reykholt, wrapping up the day with time at Hraunfoss and Barnafoss waterfalls before heading back.

Borgarnes
The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is calling, and you'll see why people call it Iceland in miniature. Glaciers, waterfalls, lava fields, and volcanic peaks are all here, and you might spot seals hanging out on the black sand beaches. Kirkjufell mountain is quite distinctive and worth your attention. Later you'll head to Borgarnes for the evening, where you can explore the waterfront or check out the Settlement Centre to learn about Viking history.

Selfoss
The Golden Circle is your route today. Gullfoss waterfall is a major stop, and you'll hear the story of how a farmer's daughter fought to protect it. Then you're off to Geysir to watch Strokkur shoot water and steam up into the air. Thingvellir National Park gives you the chance to see the tectonic plates, which is pretty remarkable. Before dinner, you'll connect with a local storyteller and songwriter who'll share some family history, then it's an exclusive Be My Guest dinner before heading to Selfoss for the night.

Grindavík
You start at Hellisheidavirkjun to learn how Iceland produces sustainable geothermal energy. Traveling across the Reykjanes Peninsula, you'll see where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge actually rises above sea level, and this whole area is a UNESCO Global Geopark. Strandarkirkja church and the steaming landscape around Lake Kleifarvatn are both worth seeing. A dip in a natural geothermal lagoon is on the agenda, and dinner with your group and travel director gives you time to swap stories and hear some local myths and legends.
