Itinerary

Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Meet your guide after breakfast and drive through the Great African Rift Valley toward Masai Mara. You'll reach Narok town by midday, check into Keekorok Lodge, and have lunch there. After settling in, head out on your first game drive looking for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay follow at the lodge.

Day 2
Masai Mara
Start early with breakfast around 7:30 AM, then spend the full day on game drives searching for predators, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles. Your packed lunch gets served at the Mara River. By evening after 5:30 PM, you have the option to visit a Masai village or return to camp. Dinner and overnight stay at Keekorok Lodge.

Day 3
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Wake early for a 6:30 AM game drive, then return for a full breakfast before leaving Masai Mara and heading to Lake Nakuru. After checking in and having lunch, take an afternoon game drive to spot flamingos, white rhinos, black rhinos, and other wildlife. Later, drive to Naivasha for a boat ride around Crescent Island to see the birdlife, then return to Lake Nakuru for dinner and overnight.

Have breakfast and go out for a morning game drive before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, leave Lake Nakuru and drive back to Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley, arriving around 4:30 PM. You'll be dropped off at your hotel or airport depending on your flight schedule.

You guys booked a family of five with a baby and infant with two single customers. Babies should not be on group game drives especially 8hr trips with no cold drinks or air conditioning. Parents and operators both take responsibility to prevent this inconsiderate act.

I thoroughly enjoyed the safari. It was beyond expectations. George, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable with the region, people and animals. He was very friendly and patient with us. On the first full day, we were able to see the big five and a cheetah hunt. We realize we were very lucky to see this. Our accommodations were on the budget level and expected it to be a little more primitive. We had about 3-4 hour of electricity at the Maasia Mara tents which was enough to recharge. After the Maasai Mara, we went onto Lake Nakuru which was very fascinating. Along with the large beast, we saw a number of species of shore birds. I would definitely use them again.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Across Africa Tours & Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 100 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
