- William· May 21st, 2025The tour was excellent. Well planned itinerary, hotels were nice, food was plentiful. As expected, I had to worry about nothing. The surprise was the friendliness and expertise of the guide, Brandon. He built a relationship with each of us (11 on trip) and adapted it for each of us. He knew the options available in the parks and explained much about the environment - from birds to plants to rock formations.Guy knows his stuff. If you are able, get on one of his tours!Show more
- Gary· April 26th, 2025Our guide Steven was extremely knowledgeable and as beautiful as all the parks were, his explanations of how and when their formation occurred enhanced the experience. I have seen quite a bit of the world beauty this planet has to offer, from Iceland to the Canadian Rockies but nothing like the Mighty 5 parks in Utah. This should be a must for any bucket list and this tour gets you there in 5 days without feeling rushed.Show more
- Mary· April 21st, 2025This was an amazing trip. Our trip began with breathtaking Zion National Park. Everyday following we visited a new park just as majestic and exciting with a good mix of hiking and sightseeing from the very comfortable Mercedes van. The views took my breath away. This is a well planned out excursion. Erin (our guide) was very personable, attentive and informative. He made sure that guests needs and abilities were taken into consideration. He suggested hikes for different levels of fitness and there was something for everyone to enjoy. I highly recommend this trip.Show more

Asked on March 2nd, 2025What is the single supplement for the Glacier National Park tour
- Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written March 2025
The single supplement is $3699.00
- K
Katie
Traveler•Written March 2025Is that the total price for a single traveler? Or in addition to the price for double travelers?
- Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written March 2025
Thats the price for a single traveler not sharing a room with anyone. if you have a travel companion and you guys share a room that would be a double occupancy rate per person.

Asked on October 20th, 2024Are there tours available for 2 families (9 persons total) to join? We want to see Glacier National Park and have a lot of flexibility in our time.
- Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written October 2024
Yes we can book 9 people on one tour that has availability. Our van holds 14 people.
- L
Leslie
Traveler•Written October 2024We would like to book a tour but now may have other family members who are interested in coming. There is a possible 16-18 people who might want to come. Can you accommodate this group?
- Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written October 2024
Our vans only hold 13-14 passengers you would have to have 2 vans. We wouldn't be able to do this tour off of our guaranteed departure rate, it would have to be a custom tour.

Traveler•Written November 2024One of my sons is graduating from college and looking for a job. I am hoping that when I book this trip, he will be able to take time off from his work to enjoy it. If he is not able to go on the trip, I wanted to ask what the cancellation policy is.

Traveler•Written November 2024When we took a Tourradar trip to Costa Rica (which we really enjoyed!), we had some days where we could choose what tours we wanted to do on a particular day. Is that true for this tour also?
- Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written November 2024
This is a group tour, so there will be other travelers joining you. Due to the group setting, modifications to the itinerary aren't possible, so you'll need to follow the planned schedule as it is. However, if you'd like to take time off from the itinerary at any point, you're welcome to do so; just note that you'll need to make your way back to the accommodation on your own.

Asked on June 4th, 2024Do you have dates available for 2025?

Asked on April 12th, 2024What kind of scheduling do you have then for May 2025?
- Southwest Adventure ToursOperator•Written April 2024
We do not have a scheduled departure for May of 2025. It isn't the best time to be exploring Glacier because the park is still transitioning from winter to summer. May 1 – June 30 Early Season, trails are often muddy and covered in puddles or flowing water at lower elevations. Water crossings are deep, swift, and cold. Seasonal suspension and plank bridges start to be installed in late May. Expect snow cover at higher elevations and be prepared with map and compass skills for route finding, and ice axe and crampons for crossing steep slopes. Snow conditions can change daily: icy in the morning, soft in the afternoon. Backcountry Campgrounds earliest scheduled openings begin June 15th, but the Belly River region in the northeast and the North Fork region in the northwest are often accessible in May. We can do a custom tour for you if you would be interested in that.

Traveler•Written April 2024We don't want to be there until it makes sense for more reasonable weather. Do you have a calendar of openings for this trip starting in July?

In July 2025, our departure dates are 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, and 7/27. Please let me know which date you are interested in.
