Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales
After arriving at Punta Arenas Airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Puerto Natales. The afternoon and evening are open for you to walk around town and get oriented with the area on your own schedule.

 - Day 2
Torres del Paine National Park
You'll leave Puerto Natales early for a 90-minute drive into Torres del Paine National Park, traveling through Patagonian steppe where you might see guanacos, rheas, and foxes. The day includes stops at Nordenskjöld Lake, Salto Grande waterfall, the Cuernos del Paine mountains, and Grey Lake to see the glacier and icebergs up close. After that, you'll head back to Puerto Natales, arriving in the evening.

Puerto Natales
After breakfast, you have the day free to check out Puerto Natales at your own pace. If you want a guided experience, there's an optional boat trip through Última Esperanza Fjord to see Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers, with views of mountains and local Patagonian birds.

Puerto Natales to El Calafate
Following breakfast, you'll travel to the bus terminal and head across the Andes Mountains through wide Patagonian landscapes. The route crosses from Chile into Argentina, ending in El Calafate. From there, you'll transfer to your hotel to settle in.

Perito Moreno Glacier
Today focuses on Perito Moreno Glacier. You'll stand near the massive ice wall and watch chunks of ice break off into the lake below. Later, you'll board a catamaran at Bajo de las Sombras port and navigate Lago Rico for close-up views of the glacier's face and floating icebergs before returning to El Calafate.

El Calafate to El Chaltén
An early bus ride takes you about three hours to El Chaltén, the trekking hub of the region. During the drive, you'll see Lake Argentino, Lake Viedma with its glacier, and the iconic profiles of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. There's a short stop at La Leona Roadhouse, which has a small museum and historic building. You'll arrive midday with the afternoon free to explore the mountain village.

Mount Fitz Roy and Laguna de los Tres Trek
You'll drive 12 km from El Chaltén to Río Eléctrico and hike 17 km round-trip along the Blanco River through lenga and ñire forests. After about an hour, you reach Piedras Blancas Glacier Viewpoint for glacier views. Continuing through the forest leads to Campamento Poincenot, then a steep 300-meter climb (roughly 90 minutes) to Laguna de los Tres with views of Mount Fitz Roy's main wall and turquoise water. You'll have lunch, then head back through Laguna Capri and Estancia Madsen Viewpoint, returning to El Chaltén around 5 p.m.

Cerro Torre Trail
Your day is free to hike the Cerro Torre Trail at your own pace. You'll trek through lenga forests, peat bogs, and shrublands to reach Laguna Torre, a glacial lake surrounded by moraines. Cerro Torre rises 3,128 meters like a needle above the landscape, and you might see icebergs from Glaciar Grande floating on the lagoon. Take in the panoramic Patagonian views before hiking back to El Chaltén in the afternoon.

El Chaltén to El Calafate
You have a free day to spend in El Chaltén however you like. Walk through the village, visit the small chapel, have coffee with mountain views, or simply relax. If you want something more active, there's an optional Lago del Desierto excursion to see a glacial lake surrounded by forests and mountains with local historical connections. Later in the afternoon, you'll catch a bus back to El Calafate.
