- Lisa· October 2nd, 2025This Outlander tour was wonderful. It was booked with Rabbies which was excellent. The group was a group of 15 people which I liked. The bugs driver/ tour guide Lizzie was fantastic. Super sweet and chock full of stories and knowledge. The itinerary and overall organization was good. I felt we did a lot more Outlander heavy stuff on day 1 and day 4 which I loved. In the town of Falkland, we had dinner and further spend much time exploring there and got tons do some photos but that felt a bit rushed and this town I looked forward to see while area small, I wanted to soak in a bit more. We entered all castles with no issues as 99% of them came pre booked or were free to enter with exception of midhope castle. The accommodations provided were both excellent in my opinion. I was very happy where I stayed and had a full Scottish breakfast at both places. During the tour there were plenty of times bathroom breaks and a lunch break. The tour bus was easy to find in Edinburgh with the instructions provided and we were dropped off same location with ease. I highly recommend.Show more

On The Go ToursOperator•Written September 2025Turkish Gulets are traditional, all wooden Turkish sailing boats, with a spacious deck that includes a dining area. They vary in size, anywhere from 2 up to 12 cabins, but our Gulet's are usually 6-8 cabins in size. All boats are equipped with basic fishing lines as well as flippers and snorkels to use in the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. The boats will have ample space to relax in or out of the sun as you sail. You will be in a double/twin cabin with en suite shower and WC (equivalent to 3 star standard of accommodation). Smoking is not permitted onboard. A mixture of traditional Turkish and international food is available. The captain and all of the crew have extensive experience of the waters and locations visited on the tour.

Yes our boats do have AC, but we do not have a luggage service on land. You would need to bring your belongings or we could possible assist in finding a luggage service provider close to the dock for you.

This tour you will see that you will stay on an air-conditioned Gulet, in a double cabin with en suite shower and WC (equivalent to 3 star standard of accommodation). Gulets are traditional, all wooden Turkish sailing boats, with a spacious deck that includes a dining area. They vary in size, anywhere from 2 up to 12 cabins, but our Gulet's are usually 6-8 cabins in size. On-board you'll find comfortable cabins all of which offer an en-suite shower and toilet. All meals during your trip are prepared on the boat and enjoyed in stunning surroundings. We can notify our ground handler of special meal requests and all attempts will be made to satisfy these requests.

Asked on March 18th, 2024What is the best way to get from Basel to Bodrum? Is there any way that we can fly to that would have a direct connection to Bodrum and bypass Istanbul? Do we need to take the train to Zurich in order to fly to Istanbul? Are there any airlines that fly direct to Bodrum from there?

The best option would be to fly with Pegasus Airlines from Basel to Bodrum on 05/07/24. Its via Istanbul SAW and there are no direct flights. Total flight time including layover is approx 5 hours 55 mins and cost will range from $350-500 pp.
