The tour was very well organized and well timed. All the tour guides told us a lot of interesting facts about the sights and were helpful and committed - especially Nurin in Cairo and Ali in Luxor. The drivers were also reliable and helpful. All challenges, from changing money to buying a sim-lock card for mobile internet access, were overcome. The temples, tombs, camel ride etc. were great. Hotels, night trains and boat stay were great. I was able to take a later night train from Luxor to Cairo after unfortunately missing the train I had booked due to short-term health problems. Fortunately, I was accompanied by Tarek. It would have been nice if it had been mentioned in the services that I had to pay all entrance fees to temples, etc. (except for the carriage ride in Edfu). (except for the carriage ride in Edfu) had to be paid separately. Which sightseeing during the Nile trip should have been included in the price? Tip for tourists: Always negotiate prices for souvenirs and other things down otherwise you will pay too much!

Guide in Luxor/Aswan and guide in Alexander was overall excellent. Mohammed in Luxor/Aswan was organized, communicated very well and wrote out our schedule everyday . Excellent guide. 4 nights on ship in Luxor/Aswan was very good with excellent service. Hotel in Cairo was 3 star at best. We had communication challenges with our Cairo guide.
