From start to finish the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the mountain, its terrain, and the best strategies for a successful ascent. The quality of accommodations and meals exceeded my expectations, Tents were comfortable and well maintained, meals were nutritious, delicious and varied. It was impressive how the cook managed to prepare such great food in the middle of the middle of the wilderness. Safety was clearly a top priority for Kilisa Tours & Safaris, Guide was well prepared for any situation, carrying comprehensive first aid kits and constantly monitoring out health and acclimation. Everything was perfect including professional staff and accommodation was comfortable and well equipped to help us to experience the beauty of the night sky at high altitude camp. We got luck to spot native wildlife like elephant, buffalo and monkeys.
