You hike for roughly 4 hours through mountain terrain with your guide pointing out local plants and wildlife along the way. By midday you'll reach Silcakancha where lunch happens with good views of the surrounding peaks. From there it's another 3 hours of hiking, and by evening you'll be at Soraypampa camp where the chef has prepared traditional local food for dinner.

A mystical journey through a fantastic, mystical country. The exchange with the tour guide via whatsapp worked very well, all chauffeurs were very friendly and helpful. The hotels were very well maintained. I can definitely recommend the trip.

Cucemba Lodge was relaxing in a jungle environment. Lodge is very rustic with limited power availability but a place to spend down time for yourself. Good menu limited too. Great daily eco-tours and jungle/river trips day and night seeing flora and wild animals - especially the pink and gray dolphins! Our guide, Nestor, is a very knowledgeable about plants, animals, indigenous communities and culture/history.
