Itinerary
- Day 1San FranciscoStart the day at the Public Library where you'll meet up and then head out for a bay cruise. You'll pass under the Golden Gate Bridge and circle around Alcatraz Island before coming back to Pier 39 for lunch. The afternoon takes you through Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill to see the city's most recognized spots. As evening approaches, you'll catch the night views from the Bay Bridge before traveling to Modesto for the night. - Meals

- Day 2Yosemite National Park or California CoastThe day depends on what season you're traveling. Summer visits mean heading east through farmlands to Yosemite National Park where you'll see El Capitan, Bridal-Veil Falls, Half Dome, and Yosemite Falls (730m/2,395 ft). There's a walk from the Visitor Center included. Winter travelers go to Monterey's wharf and Cannery Row instead, then continue to Carmel-by-the-Sea with time to look through boutiques and galleries. Either way, you'll drive back to Los Angeles along the scenic California coast in the afternoon. - Meals

- Day 3Death Valley to Las VegasHead east through farmlands and desert, passing through Death Valley on your way to Las Vegas. You'll stop at Barstow outlet mall for lunch and shopping at stores like Levi's, Nike, Reebok, Timberland, and Ralph Lauren. Once in Las Vegas, the evening includes a tour of the Strip where you can see Caesar's Palace, Luxor, Mirage, Paris, Venetian, Bellagio, New York-New York, and Treasure Island. If you want, there's time for optional shows or casino gaming afterward. - Meals

- Day 4Hoover Dam to Los AngelesAfter breakfast, you'll leave Las Vegas and stop at the Hoover Dam to learn how this engineering structure works and its importance to the region. There's one last opportunity for slot machines at the state line before crossing back into California. The tour wraps up when you arrive in Los Angeles. - Meals
