Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Nagarkot
You'll start early with a 45-minute Jeep drive to Sankhu to avoid the worst traffic before your mountain bike ride begins. The first 3 km takes you through farmlands and past local houses on mostly flat paved road, then you'll hit a gradual climb toward Nagarkot with a few tougher sections mixed in. Around midday, you'll stop for lunch at Kartike village where the views are really nice. After eating, it's the final 4 km uphill push to reach Nagarkot, a popular hill station perched up high. By evening, you'll be positioned to catch the sunset from this spot, which is why people come here.

- Day 2
Nagarkot to Namobuddha
Following breakfast, you'll climb 4 km uphill to a viewpoint where you can see the Langtang Range spread out below, and if the weather cooperates, Mount Everest might be visible too. From there, the ride gets fun as you descend on singletrack trails down to Dhulikhel. You've got another 2 hours of riding after that to reach Namobuddha Monastery, a sacred place where Lord Buddha is said to have sacrificed himself to feed a starving tiger and her cubs. In the evening, you'll participate in prayers with the monks and share dinner with them at the monastery.

Namobuddha to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you'll head downhill on singletrack before switching to cross-country riding toward Panauti, a historical town with real character. From Panauti, the route gradually climbs 17 km upward to Lakuri Bhanjyang, and as you go higher, views of the Kathmandu valley and Langtang mountain range come into view. You'll have lunch at Lakuri Bhanjyang once you reach the top, then the ride turns into a downhill descent to Lubhu. The day finishes with a Jeep drive back to Kathmandu to complete your journey.
