- Michael· August 7th, 2025We covered a lot of territory and the guide was informative, explaining what we were seeing and how it formed. He was very personable and accommodating. The altiplano hostels, that were in areas that reached -5 to -7C, had no heat or hot water and travelers should be advised to bring their own towels and some toilet paper along with their personal supplies. Overall however, I thought is was well worth what I paid for it and it was definitely a worthwhile experience. The tour company took very good care of me, meeting me and taking me to each destination. I especially appreciated the hotel room in Uyuni that was provided before and after the tour. It was very comfortable, and after the tour a shower was sorely needed!Show more
