Itinerary
- Day 1
Chennai to Delhi to Agra
You'll fly from Chennai to Delhi, then head to Agra which is about 250 km away and takes 4 to 5 hours by car. Once you've settled into your hotel, make your way to Mehtab Bagh for sunset. This crescent-shaped garden sits on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River and gives you a different angle on the Taj Mahal as the light changes in the evening.

- Day 2
Agra to Jaipur
Start early and get to the Taj Mahal right at sunrise when there aren't many people around. The morning light hits it differently than you'd see it later. Come back to your hotel for breakfast, then check out and visit Agra Fort, this massive red sandstone structure where Mughal emperors actually lived. After that, you'll drive to Jaipur, which is about 240 km and takes 6 to 7 hours. In the late afternoon or early evening, walk through City Palace and Hawa Mahal before checking in.

- Day 3
Jaipur
Spend your day checking out Jaipur's forts and palaces starting with Amber Fort. You can take an elephant ride up to the entrance if you want. Inside, see the Sheesh Mahal with all its mirrors, then walk through Panna Meena Ka Kund stepwell which has this really interesting geometric crisscross pattern to its stairs. Stop by Gatore Ki Chhatriyan next, the royal crematory with detailed carved monuments. Finish with a boat ride at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace that sits right in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Catch an evening flight back to Chennai.
