From beginning to end this tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Marco was excellent, personable and knowledgeable. Boat rides, wineries, truffle hunting, were a few of our favorite things.

Budapest was fabulous. I added a classical concert at Matthias Church which was delightful. There was lots of time spent driving. Would have been nicer to change transport to trains and ferries. The visit to Lake Bled was a bit disappointing. Especially after visiting Plitvice Lakes

This was a well planned tour that let us see many different locations in both Slovenia and Croatia. It was beautiful landscape with so many different things to do and see. Enjoyed having a guide, but enjoyed having free time to explore for ourselves. Would have liked to be able to go into more of the places that we saw in some of the cities. Otherwise good overall.

I would like to see what the cabins and restaurants look like. Maybe you could give me the name of the boat. I notice that there is quite a big differences in prices between the cruises. I would prefer to pay for the extra comfort as opposed to those costing around$1400 for example.

    Asked on November 4th, 2022

How much would the cost be for a private tour? We have 2 children ages 5 & 7 that can sleep with us on the existing bed. What does 2BB have that is different from 1BB? Is there no lunch or dinner included? Will the tour guide help us find a family friendly place to have lunch and dinner if its not included?

According to the hotels general policy, you would have to stay in a triple room. One of the children will have their own bed, and the younger one can stay in an existing bed. We are in the middle of the price updating process and it will be ready on Monday! We can arrange this tour on a private basis for your family.

    • Balkan and moreOperatorWritten June 2022

This tour is suitable for the senior citizens as long as they can walk reasonable distances during the sightseeing. We had 85-year-old clients and they did it really great. The vegetarian food is available on the tour, of course! The only thing is that the date July 5th is no longer available. Perhaps, you can consider some departure in September/October. It is very hot during summer and this is something that can bother the senior citizens.
