Ljubljana
You'll arrive in Ljubljana and head to your hotel to settle in. After that, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. The city has plenty of energy to discover on foot, and there are good restaurants within walking distance when you're ready for dinner.

Lake Bled - Ljubljana
This morning starts with a guided tour through Ljubljana's main sights including the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, Town Hall, Mestni Trg, Robba's Fountain, and the central market. The Triple Bridge gets a stop too. From there you'll head to Lake Bled for a traditional pletna boat ride out to the Church of Saint Mary on the island. There's time to check out Bled Castle and try the local krempita cream cake before heading back to Ljubljana for dinner.

Postojna Cave - Goriska Hills - Portorož
You'll leave Ljubljana and drive about an hour to Postojna Cave. An electric train takes you through the underground landscape with stalactites, stalagmites, and underground waterfalls. After that, you're heading to the Goriska Hills wine region to see the medieval village of Smarno and taste wines at a local winery. By evening you'll check into your hotel in Portoroz on the coast.

Grozjan - Motovun - Poreč
First stop is Grozjan, a hilltop village with galleries and medieval architecture that you'll walk through at your own pace. Next comes a truffle-hunting demonstration with a local expert and dog in the Istrian forests, followed by tasting truffle-infused cheese and sausages with wine. Later you'll head to Motovun to explore its ancient hilltop streets and forests, then continue on to Porec for hotel check-in.

Rovinj - Lim Bay - Pula - Poreč
You'll spend the morning wandering through Rovinj's old town with its Venetian architecture and checking out local art on Grisia Street. Around midday you're heading to Lim Bay for oyster and seashell tasting at a restaurant near an oyster farm. After that, drive to Pula to see the Roman amphitheatre along with the Temple of Augustus and Triumphal Arch of Sergius. You'll return to Porec by evening.

After leaving Porec, you'll stop in Opatija for a coffee break and a stroll along the Lungomare promenade. The drive continues through countryside with small villages and rolling hills before reaching Plitvice Lakes National Park. There's a 3-hour guided tour through the 16 interconnected cascading lakes, exploring both upper and lower sections. You'll have time at a restaurant near the park before checking into your hotel.

Trogir - Split
You're heading toward the Dalmatian coast today. Trogir is your first stop, a small island with medieval and Renaissance architecture, the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, Clock Tower, Loggia, Land Gate, Kamerlengo Castle, and Saint Mark's Tower. From there, continue to Split and walk through Diocletian's Palace complex with its narrow cobblestone streets. See the Temple of Jupiter and Cathedral of Saint Domnius, then walk the lively Riva promenade before checking in.

Hvar Island - Split
You'll head to the ferry port this morning for a high-speed catamaran to Hvar Island. A walking tour shows you the harbour, Renaissance Cathedral, Benedictine Convent, Franciscan monastery, and Church of Our Lady of Mercy. The afternoon is free, so you can take a boat trip to the Pakleni Islands, relax on beaches, explore trails to Milna Bay, or grab lunch at local restaurants. You'll return to Split by catamaran in the late afternoon, though timing varies by season.
