- SPSounsier· June 26th, 2025You cannot beat the price I paid for this tour. Both guides were very friendly. The driver was extremely polite, and did his job flawlessly. All inclusions offered in the tour were covered efficiently. If I was asked to change anything, I would ask that guides make themselves better aware of sunrise / sunset times + monkey feeding days and times. This way the tour can be organized in a timely manner. We were offered the 2 hour massage on Sunday late afternoon, and sunset by the beach dinner after. But we were late and missed the sunset. Temple visit was scheduled on Monday, and we missed monkey feeding on Sunday at 4pm. If these 2 itineraries were swapped, we would not have missed the sunset, or the monkey feeding. Nevertheless. It was an amazing trip. I would have preferred to spend an extra day in Bali, and in Gili Islands. It was a hectic trip to cover the itinerary.Show moreThe Bali Trip Mate commented on this reviewHi Sounrier, Thank you for sharing your fantastic experience! We started at the first day right away with body massage and dinner on the beach what all women want was to be pampered of course. We had an amazing tour guide - Yustus who really cared about our trip. Most of us stayed pre and post accommodation to have more R&R. This trip was worth every dollar. - Cynthia· November 24th, 2024The tour itself was very good/excellent. The customer service from Bali Trip Mates was absolutely amazing. There was a volcano eruption on the day we were supposed to fly from Labuan Bajo back to Bali and all flights were cancelled until further notice. I made a phone call to Customer Service and our local guide. That was at about 8:00 am. We were taken back to the hotel, given access to the room we had just checked out of and told to relax by the pool. By noon, they had put together a travel schedule that not only got us back to Bali, but minimized the impact on our vacation. We can't say enough good things about our local guide, Evho. Still not a Durian fan but fun watching the group tasting and react to it. The snorkeling in Gili was crazy. Hand feeding turtles while snorkeling is something you won’t forget and the white beaches and colorful fish make this the best place I have ever snorkeled. Asked on June 12th, 2025if the full and final cost is £586 or if there are any add-ons. if we have to pay for food. if the airport pickup is from Denpasar International Airport and if we will be returned to that airport. if accommodation is in single rooms or if this involves sharing. Please note that I am a solo traveller.
- The Bali Trip MateOperator•Written June 2025
The tour price is GBP 586.49 and covers all the arrangements mentioned in the included services list of the package. We also offer add-ons for extra convenience like pre-tour accommodation, post-tour accommodation, and transfer services. Your journey includes 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch on day 3 in the Kintamani area, and 2 dinners. On the first day, you'll be picked up from Denpasar International Airport. The tour package is based on double or twin-sharing accommodation, but if you prefer a private room, you can select this option during the booking process.

Traveler•Written June 2025Are the add-on prices indicated in the attachments based on US or Australian dollars? If I wanted to go for single-room accommodation, would I be paying $990 over and above the basic fee for the holiday? What is the typical age-range and average age of participants on this trip? I'm a (very) fit 65-year old and many of the people with whom I work are between 35 and 55, but I'd still like to know what kind of group I'd be jointing. Is Gili Island busy and noisy, a kind of "party island"? There's one photo which shows a crowd in what looks like a bar overlooking a beach. Is that typical? I like people but also quite and solitude. Would I get that? Do you have a brochure for the seven-day Bali and Gili Islands trip.
- The Bali Trip MateOperator•Written June 2025
Add-on prices are in USD Dollars. You could choose single-room accommodation during the booking process. The typical age-range for participants is 35-60 and the trips are moderate and easy. Gili Island can be busy and noisy, but you can go north for a relaxing beach day or visit Gili Meno, which is quieter. You will have some personal time during trips after daily tours.

Asked on May 12th, 2025Do we also fly out of that airport? Will you organize transport back to the airport?
- The Bali Trip MateOperator•Written May 2025
Correct, for the 7-day Bali and Gili Islands Epic Experience, you will fly into and out of Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS). We provide airport transfers on the official start and end dates of the tour. If you require airport transfer outside of those dates, there will be an additional charge of USD 20 per car.

Traveler•Written May 2025Is the return transfer to the airport included in the tour price, or is it an add-on of $55 to get the ferry?
- The Bali Trip MateOperator•Written May 2025
The return transfer to Bali Airport is not included in the tour price an optional add-on for USD 55. Youre welcome to include it when you make your booking, or we can add it later if your travel plans are confirmed, as many guests choose to stay longer in Gili or Lombok after the tour ends.

Asked on May 8th, 2025My sister and I would like to do this tour. We are both slim and fit but slightly over the age suggestion. I have just turned 76, and my sister is 78. I am happy to sign a waiver or anything, but could we please do this tour?
- The Bali Trip MateOperator•Written May 2025
Yes, you and your sister are very welcome to join the tour. While the suggested age range is a general guideline, we are happy to make exceptions for guests who are physically capable of participating. There's no need to sign a waiver at this point, but we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as it is not included in the tour package.
