- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Your Ancient Egypt Tours representative meets you at the airport and drives you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned car. Check-in happens at 14:00, so if you land earlier, you can relax at the hotel or arrange a pre-tour extra night for immediate access.

Giza Plateau & Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, your personal guide takes you to Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, plus Khafre and Menkaure's pyramids nearby. You'll also see the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple, with a photo stop for all three pyramids against the Cairo skyline. Following lunch at a local restaurant, head to the Egyptian Museum to view ancient artifacts including King Tutankhamun's golden treasures.

- Day 3
Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur
Your guide picks you up after breakfast to explore the Step Pyramid of Zoser at Saqqara, the world's oldest major stone structure, along with Imhotep's museum, tombs of King Titi and King Unas. After lunch in Giza, you transfer to Memphis to see the Statue of Ramses II and alabaster sphinx. Then visit the Red and Bent Pyramids at Dahshur before heading back to your hotel.

Cairo to Aswan
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Once you arrive, you're driven to your hotel for check-in. Lunch and dinner are included on your arrival day, so you can settle in and rest.

- Day 5
Nile Cruise Begins
Following breakfast at your hotel, you board your 5-star Nile cruise and have lunch on board. The afternoon takes you to the High Dam, an engineering project built between 1960 and 1970. Then you see the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae on Isis Island, dedicated to goddesses Isis and Hathor. Check out the Granite Quarries before dinner on the ship.

Edfu - Luxor
Sail to Kom Ombo with afternoon tea service. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which has a unique double dedication to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris from around 180 BC. Keep sailing to Edfu to see the Temple of Horus, the second largest temple after Karnak. Then sail to Luxor, where you'll have afternoon tea and dinner on board followed by a Galabya party.

Valley of the Kings & West Bank
After breakfast on board, cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings with about 60 tombs dating from 1539 BC to 1075 BC. You'll visit 3 tombs, including King Tutankhamun's tomb discovered in 1922. Then see Queen Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple at El Deir El Bahary and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, cross back to the Eastern bank for Thebes temples, including the massive Karnak complex. Lunch is on board with free time and afternoon tea before dinner.

Have breakfast on board before disembarking, then transfer to the airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. When you arrive, transportation takes you to your hotel.

Cairo to Alexandria & Back
Your guide picks you up after breakfast for a day trip to Alexandria, about 210 km away on the Mediterranean coast. You'll see Montazah Palace and its 317-acre gardens, then Pompey's Pillar built for Emperor Diocletian. Explore the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three rock-cut levels. Drive along the Cornish past the Stanley Bridge, visit the Qaitbay Citadel on the ancient lighthouse site, and tour the Bibliotheca Alexandrina with 8 million books. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to your Cairo hotel.
