SUPER RECOMMENDABLE! it is not heavy at all because it is very well balanced in activities including cultural visits, wildlife, nature, history, religion...it is very easy to do with children. The 4 star hotels and the places recommended for meals are very appropriate and affordable, in summary we loved the organization and the predisposition to adapt to our needs according to the progress of the trip. The only concern you can have is to ENJOY this wonderful country. I also highly recommend hiring the guide Sandy, he treated us like a member of the family and we will never forget him. He also answered all our questions with a lot of knowledge and respect. 10 out of 10! Thank you for EVERYTHING!

Visa: Most travelers need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization). Apply online before arrival. Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. Return ticket & proof of funds: Sometimes requested on arrival. At certain cultural sites, entry fees must be paid in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) – foreign currency and credit cards are not accepted – carry local currency always (even card machine sometimes don't work). Sigiriya Be ready for some uphill climbs – one location requires around 1,200 steps, and Dambulla another about 250 steps. Comfortable shoes and water are recommended. At certain religious places, modest clothing is required – shoulders and knees must be covered, and footwear needs to be removed. Carry a light scarf or shawl. Some areas involve walking through tea fields, villages, and forest paths – expect uneven terrain, so sturdy footwear is useful. A few places have cooler weather, especially in the hill country, so a light jacket or sweater will be helpful. Some experiences include wildlife viewing and river excursions – carry insect repellent, sunblock, and a hat. Short hikes may be part of the journey; best done in the morning or late afternoon for comfort. Traditional village activities may be part of the trip; these are rustic and authentic, often including local transport and food. Shopping opportunities and local markets will be available; keeping some local currency in small denominations is useful.
