- AWAlison· May 26th, 2025From start to finish On the Go Tours made me regret ever booking my trip. 1) I booked a tour and the webpage loaded a ‘booking confirmed’ page so I went ahead and made the rest of my travel arrangements, only to then be told my booking wasn’t actually confirmed. I naturally then had some very stressful days thinking I had booked flights with nothing to do. 2) on the go tours stated the tour I booked was provided by a partner, but by refusing to name them it made it impossible to choose to book direct. 3) I was told my tour was cancelled 14h before it was due to depart and several hours after those who had booked direct were informed. 4) I was offered an alternative shortened tour but with almost no information about what it would entail or how much it would cost and asked to make a decision on the spot 5) the replacement tour failed to include the only places I was told it would go, the very reason I decided to say yes 6) The refund I was given was literally a joke, considering my ability to chose what I wanted to do was taken away, and went on a tour half as long that didn’t include the headline stops of this tour 7) I have been gaslight, ignored and generally given the run around while trying to get a fair resolution. All things considered - book with literally any other tour company. I literally would have sooner stayed at home, not because of poor weather, but because of On the Go Tours abysmal communication and customer care.Show more

- DGDavid· August 9th, 2024My wife and I had a wonderful time on our 3 day tour of Southern Iceland. Our tour guide, Margarit, was fabulous! She was friendly, informative, flexible and went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing trip. Before we arrived in Iceland I had some concern whether reasonably healthy octogenarians could keep up with the younger members of the group. Except for the long climb to one of the waterfalls which we avoided, we had no problem at all. We met an interesting and affable mix of tourists from different countries, and we enjoyed each others company. On the last day, unfortunately ,an excess of rain washed out a portion of a vital road, and we had to miss the scheduled visit to an ice cave. Arctic Adventures, our Icelandic tour company, acted very responsibly and arranged anappropriate change of vehicle to return us to Reykjavik, and provided everyone with an appropriate refund for the missed portion of the trip. For those of us who made our original booking through Tour Radar and On The Go Tours, we were guaranteed the full amount of the refund declared by Arctic Adventures. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a 3 day land tour of amazing Iceland. - David· May 24th, 2024The venues selected for the tour were nteresting. This is a good self guiding tour as we had plenty of driving time (hours and hours each day) where the guide didn't speak. No music either, just silence. That left us researching Iceland history and stories online. The hotel selected and owned by the tour company was comfortable. It was far from any other business so you have to eat your dinner there. I'll arrive to Reykjavik on Tuesday 3 June and would like to leave the following day (4 June) on 4-day bus tour to see as much as possible, returning to Reykjavik on Saturday 7 June - in time for my conference starting the following day. Do you have any options available for this?

Unfortunately, we are unable to make exceptions to our minimum age requirement. We cannot accommodate a person who has not reached the age limit for the tour. We place great value on the safety of our customers, and our minimum age policy is an important part of this commitment. The minimum age requirement is determined by our operational managers and is based on the specific activity and its difficulty level, which can vary between tours. We ask for your understanding that this policy is in place purely for safety reasons, and therefore, we cannot make any exceptions. Unfortunately, we don't have any other Iceland tours suitable for 6-year-olds.
