- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll land at Tan San Nhat Airport and get transferred to your hotel. If there's time before evening, walk around downtown Ho Chi Minh City to get a feel for local life. Check out the street cafes and watch the bike culture that really defines this city. It's pretty busy even in the late afternoon, so moving around on foot gives you a real sense of how things work here.

Ho Chi Minh City
This morning starts with a guided city tour hitting the major spots: Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office, Jade Emperor Pagoda, and the War Remnant Museum. After that, head into Ben Thanh Market to wander through the stalls. In the afternoon, you'll drive out to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network from the independence struggle that stretches about 200 kilometers. It's quite something to walk through and understand the history.

Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh City
You're heading to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's main rice-growing area. Once in My Tho, you'll get on a boat to check out small canals and see how people live on the islands. Stop at Unicorn Island to walk through orchards and sample whatever fruits are in season, plus there's traditional music happening. Later you'll go to Ben Tre Province to see local industries, eat lunch, and visit Ving Trang Pagoda before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City by evening.

Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat
Early departure from Ho Chi Minh City heading north through tea and coffee plantations on the way to Da Lat, about 300 kilometers away. The drive itself is scenic with nice countryside views. Da Lat sits around a lake surrounded by forests, waterfalls, and rolling hills. The French built it as a hill station to escape the heat, so it has a different feel from the lowland cities. Spend the afternoon getting oriented and walking around town.

Da Lat to Nha Trang
Start early with a walk through Da Lat town. Then visit the summer residence of Emperor Bao Dai, followed by Lam Ty Ni Pagoda and Hang Nga Guesthouse, which has pretty unusual architecture. Check out the central market and the old train station this morning. Later you'll drive through hilly terrain to reach Nha Trang on the coast. The route takes you over Ngoan Muc Pass and past Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers, where you can learn about Cham culture and history.

Nha Trang
Spend the day at Nha Trang's beaches with turquoise water and white sand. A boat takes you out around the coastal islands and stops at a fishing village so you can see island life firsthand. You'll have time for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing on the beach. Lunch features fresh seafood, which is pretty good this close to the water. Before heading back late afternoon, visit Long Son Pagoda and Ponagar Cham Towers overlooking the colorful fishing port.

Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City
If you're interested, there's optional swimming on Nha Trang Beach before breakfast. After eating, you'll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, which takes several hours but the roads are fine. The route goes through countryside and small villages, so there are chances to stop for photos or just stretch if you want. It's a good opportunity to see how rural areas look compared to the cities you've visited.

Ho Chi Minh City
This morning and early afternoon are free to relax or explore Ho Chi Minh City on your own terms if you haven't seen everything. Later, you'll get transferred to Tan San Nhat Airport for your flight home. Make sure you have time for any last-minute shopping or need to check out of your hotel before heading to the airport.
