- Emma· December 8th, 2022When I booked this tour I had no idea what to expect and I was naturally very nervous. The first day I met everyone and the tour guide I immediately felt safe and excited. This tour completely changed my life, I had the adventure of a life time and made friends that will last me a life time. I recommend this company to everyone who asks. I’m hoping to book a tour next year. Amazing job everyone!Show moreTrip date: September 2022
- Kris· April 22nd, 2020I had signed up for a trip this summer under the terms and conditions that I could get a full refund if the trip was canceled or if I canceled before 60 days of departure. When COVID-19 began Topdeck decided to retrospectively change their policy and was no longer giving refunds, but instead credit vouchers to their company. When asking about this I was told by a Topdeck agent that "The unimaginable hardship that the tourism industry is currently facing is worrying, so as a company we are focusing on what will benefit both our passengers and ourselves once life returns to normal, and we’ve come to the conclusion that issuing credit vouchers will help our company retain our passengers, whilst helping our passengers retain their value." I think it is incredibly selfish for this company to go back on their promises by offering only credit vouchers that must be used within the next year. Granted they are offering an additional $100AUD added to this voucher, it is completely useless for someone like myself who will not be able to get time off to travel like this in the future. Secondly, for the company to focus on their hardship is completely selfish. This is a very difficult time for everyone, not just them. I was supposed to work all summer to help pay for this trip along with my daily expenses, but now I have lost my income and $5000 from this trip. Furthermore, for the company to state that this is what will "benefit" their passengers is completely arrogant as this is not what will benefit me and many others, but rather only benefit themselves. In conclusion, I have reached out to several Topdeck employees and will be forcibly donating $5000 to Topdeck because they do not value their customers or the agreements they have made.Show moreTrip date: April 2020

- Abby· October 22nd, 2019The tour was a perfect first glance of Europe. It was so much fun, with such an amazing group of people. The tour guide and bus driver went above and beyond. We had plenty of free time and explored each destination as a group. My favourite part was sailing through Greece.Show moreTrip date: April 2018

- Matthew· August 20th, 2019The tour was the best but it wouldnt have been as amazing as it was without our super smart and organised tour guide Jackie and our kind and extremely talented driver. Jackie has an amazing wealth of knowledge. Every city we pulled into she fired off the best history and facts and did it in a way that was super organised. I found when we did walking tours later with a propper local guide i had already heard all i needed to hear from Jackie and the local guides were much more boring. Jackie is also very organised and diciplined. She made all the rules and timings very clear and we all knew that if we were late we missed the bus but she was also very kind and considerate if we had a reason and had discussed it earlier. She also handled any trouble makers very well. I dont think anyone can fault Jackie shes so fun and bubbly!Show moreTrip date: June 2019

Asked on February 13th, 2024Is the 18 -35 age group mandatory? We are looking at other options but this tour just seems to fit.
- TopdeckOperator•Written February 2024
All Topdeck trips are designed for and aimed at the 18-39-year-old market. The average age on most of our trips is around 23-25 years old. Most of our trips are based on share accommodation, and our passengers expect to be sharing with fellow travellers of the same age group (18-39 years).

Asked on May 24th, 2023interested in this tour however, they will be joined by their 15 year-old daughter. Can they be accommodated in this tour?
- TopdeckOperator•Written May 2023
All Topdeck trips have been designed for travellers aged between 18 and 39 years old, with the average age of our customers being around 24. Unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to accommodate a 15 year old on the tour as 18 is our minimum age requirement.

Asked on November 11th, 2022We're a family with ages ranging from 18-55. Can we book this tour? The age range says 18-39
- TopdeckOperator•Written November 2022

Asked on November 1st, 2022Do you have flight deals from and to Australia?
- TopdeckOperator•Written November 2022
Topdeck and TourRadar can assist with booking flights for Australian travellers. In order for Topdeck to send some flight quotes through, we will require a confirmed booking.

Tamara
Asked on June 7th, 2022Is there restrictions on luggage?
- TopdeckOperator•Written June 2022
The baggage allowance is only 1x main bag with the dimensions of 70cms (height) x 45cms (width) x 25cms (depth). This bag gets stored under the coach when it's a travel day and it can be a suitcase or a backpack - whatever is best for you. Please also ensure that the weight does not exceed 20 KGS. If your dimensions are little over that is fine, as we allow a few extra centimetres leeway here and there. You can also have a day bag. Please bear in mind that the day bag cannot be like a wheeley bag like you bring on a plane as the overhead compartment on the coach will not fit these types of bags. During the travel days when the group is going from one city to the next, you can keep your day bag on the coach during the break stops. However, when the group arrive at the new city the passengers are required to take all their belongings with them to the hotel/hostel as the coach is cleaned at every location.

Traveler•Written June 2022Great thanks! Am I able to have my day bag like a small duffel bag and a small bag like a camera bag or would the camera bag count as a day bag?
- TopdeckOperator•Written June 2022
That would be fine! As long as the camera bag isn't too big and you can carry that around.

Asked on April 22nd, 2022What are the modes of transportation? How many hours in total will be spent on travel? If you have a detail itinerary showing travel times, that would be really helpful in making my decision.
- TopdeckOperator•Written April 2022
During this tour, the main mode of transportation is our Topdeck coach, there is one night where you will travel by ferry overnight but the rest is via coach. The longest drive day we have is from Paris to Switzerland and that is around a 10 hour day but includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea stops. The other travel days, can be an average of 6-7 hours.
