- Day 1
Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
You'll land at Kigali airport and jump into a half-day city tour to get oriented. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon has you driving out to Volcanoes National Park. Once you arrive at your lodge, you'll have dinner and settle in for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Volcanoes National Park - Day 2
Gorilla Tracking and Iby'iwacu Cultural Village
Following breakfast, you head to Kinigi visitor center where you'll get your briefing with coffee and some local entertainment to get you ready. The main event is a 3 to 5 hour forest trek where you'll encounter mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, spending about an hour observing them. You'll return for lunch, and then the afternoon takes you to Iby'iwacu cultural village. There you can dress in traditional royal clothing, learn how to prepare local dishes, explore herbal medicine practices, and spend time with the BaTwa community. The night is yours at the cultural village.
