- DMDeborah· October 1st, 2021The boat was very comfortable, with a 3:1 ratio of passengers (just 18 of us) to crew, all native Croatians and all delightful and attentive. Because the boat was small, we could put in for our daily swim in hidden coves that the big cruise ships can’t go near. Breakfast and lunch were provided daily, and the food was wholesome, tasty, and abundant. The itinerary—Split/Dubrovnik/Split, with overnight stops at different islands each way—was logical, and the tour manager on board gave us an engaging introduction to maritime Dalmatia along the way. As I talked to the crew, I found that several of us had been "given" double upgrades, for their convenience and profitability. In other words, I could have sent you the $$$ you charged for my selection, and said send me on a boat that island hops .from sp!it to Dubrovnik with a single supplement, and there will probably be several changes.
