Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Riga at your own pace and check in at the hotel. There's an optional airport transfer if you need it, or you can make your way over yourself. Meet up with the rest of the group at 7 PM in the hotel lobby for a welcome meeting. Grab dinner at the hotel restaurant if you're hungry after your travels.

- Day 2
Riga
Start your day in the Art Nouveau district, which has some really distinctive architecture from the early 1900s. Then head into Old Town and walk through the medieval streets to see Riga Castle and the Dome Cathedral. Stop by St. Peter's Church for the views, check out the Swedish Gate, and look at the Three Brothers buildings with their different architectural styles. You'll also see the Freedom Monument. If you want more, there are optional trips to Jurmala beach or an organ concert in the evening.

- Day 3
Riga
This day is yours to spend however you like around Riga. Wander the neighborhoods, check out shops, grab lunch somewhere local. Or sign up for an optional trip to Gauja National Park if you want to get out into nature, or visit the Ethnographical Open-Air Museum to learn about traditional Latvian life. Dinner is available at the hotel if you don't want to head out again.

- Day 4
Riga to Pärnu
You'll travel from Riga south to Pärnu, a coastal town with a nice beach and relaxed vibe. After you get settled at your accommodation, there's time to walk around and get familiar with the area. The town center has cafes and shops worth checking out. Dinner is available at the hotel, or you can find somewhere else to eat if you prefer.

- Day 5
Pärnu to Tallinn
Leave Pärnu behind and head to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, which has a well-preserved medieval Old Town. Walk through the cobbled streets and visit Toompea Castle, which sits up on the hill overlooking everything. See the Dome Church, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral with its gold domes, the Town Hall, and the Great Guild Hall. Optional activities include a trip to Kadriorg Park or the KUMU art museum. There's also an optional medieval dinner at a local restaurant if you want something different.

Tallinn to Helsinki
You have the morning free in Tallinn to wander around at your leisure and see anything you might have missed or just sit in a cafe. In the afternoon, you'll head to the ferry terminal and cross over to Helsinki. Before you leave Estonia, there are optional full-day excursions available, like Lahemaa National Park with its manors and natural scenery, or a vodka museum if that interests you.

- Day 7
Helsinki
Once you're settled in Helsinki, start by visiting Senate Square, which is the heart of the city. The white Lutheran Cathedral sits right there and is hard to miss. Walk down Mannerheim Street, which has shops and galleries mixed in. Check out the Parliament Building, then head over to see Finlandia Hall, which is an interesting building. The Sibelius Monument is another iconic spot, and the Church-in-the-Rock is unique because part of it is built into actual rock. There's an optional guided tour to Suomenlinna Fortress if you want to spend more time exploring.

Helsinki to Lappeenranta
Catch an express train from Helsinki down to Lappeenranta (about 2 hours). Once there, explore the Old Town with its quiet streets and local character. The port area is nice for a walk. Lappeenranta Fortress has history from centuries back and you can walk the grounds. Visit the Orthodox Mary the Virgin Church, then in the evening you'll board a cruise on Lake Saimaa and the Saimaa Canal. The scenery from the water is really something, with forests and small islands. Optional meals are available on the cruise if you want to eat there.

You have free time in Lappeenranta to explore at your own pace. Revisit spots you liked, find a local restaurant for lunch, or just relax. Later, you'll catch an express train back to Helsinki in the afternoon or evening, depending on which departure time works for the group.

Departure
