The food was institutional and was only useful in taking away our hunger. We arrived thinking we would experience 5 star food and drink. Tries several bottles of wine that were off and resorted to beer and gin and tonic as there was no drinkable wine on the boat. The tours were okay but there was little information about what was going on or how long things would take. People need to be kept informed. The Company did not provide a private transport to Abu Simbel which is an 8 hour round trip drive - and which I confirmed was included in the additional fee. Although they did refund me $180 of the cost, it was the whole reason I paid for the private tours. Staff on ship were overall very nice. Unfortunately, the boat needs a complete refresh as it is was very outdated and smelt.
