You'll arrive and check in at 4:00 PM, getting welcomed with soup in the lounge followed by dinner. Private airport-to-port transfers can be arranged for an additional charge, or you can opt for a shared transfer option if you prefer.

Dürnstein
The boat reaches Dürnstein midday, a medieval village tucked into the Wachau Valley. From the pier, you'll walk through old gates to Pranger square where castle ruins overlook the town (Richard the Lionheart was supposedly held prisoner there). The afternoon gives you time to try local Wachau wines and take in the valley views before returning to the boat for the night.

Vienna
You have a full day in Vienna until 11 PM, about 30 minutes by tram from where the boat docks. An included guided tour covers the city by bus and on foot with an English-speaking guide, or you can wander on your own through the Austrian capital. Stop by the opera house at Kursalon before you need to head back, and grab a map at reception for other suggestions.

Budapest
Budapest comes into view early afternoon. The Danube splits the city into Buda's traditional side and Pest's modern energy. An optional guided tour takes you through Parliament, the Opera House, Heroes' Square, the Market, Chain Bridge, and Fishermen's Bastion for views across the city. You can also explore at your own pace and see Budapest lit up after dark before settling in onboard.

Budapest to Bratislava
Morning stays docked in Budapest so you can keep exploring the city on your own before lunch. Later the boat sets sail for Bratislava, and you'll spend the night onboard as you travel.

Bratislava
Start early with optional yoga or exercise on the Sun deck while the Danube wakes up around you. After breakfast, head into Bratislava to see the Old Town Hall and its Museum of City History, the Old Slovak National Theatre built in 1886, and the distinctive blue Art Nouveau Blue Church. Climb the UFO Tower for 95-meter views across the city, then wander narrow streets with cafés tucked in between.

Melk
You'll wake in Melk, a small Wachau Valley town where a Benedictine Abbey sits on a rocky outcrop overlooking the river. The abbey dates to 1089 and holds remains of Austria's first rulers. The baroque exterior went up in the 1700s, and inside you can learn how monks produced religious manuscripts here. After lunch, the boat sails to Passau where a Captain's dinner happens that evening.

Departure
