- SHSelina· October 17th, 2022Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishThe tour "4 Days Village to Village Hiking Tour (Bukhara -Samarkand, Uzbekistan) - Organizer: Responsible Travel" in September was well guided and the area beautiful for hiking. A donkey carries the big luggage. The mountains are very dry and dusty and the sun is blazing. The villages are on the river, there are trees for shade. Depending on your athleticism, the day trips might be a bit longer. Unfortunately, neither the guide nor the host families speak English, so little communication and explanations about the country and its people are possible. Without a guide you will get lost, because there are no signs or paths! The food is a bit one-sided, but okay. Even if the region and the hikes are beautiful, I find price-performance rather expensive.Show moreResponsible Travel commented on this reviewDear Selina, Thanks for taking the time to write a review about your experience with our tour. Asked on March 14th, 2024What is the difference between this tour and "Yurt camping, hiking and Lake Aydarkul tour - 3 days". My goal is trekking, be in mountains. walk, walk, walk....
- Responsible TravelOperator•Written March 2024
In 4 days village to village hiking tour you stay in homestays in 3 different villages and hike from village to village. When you book 3 days Yurt stay, hiking and Lake Aydarkul tour you stay in a yurt camp and hike around the camp. We recommed you to book 3 days Yurt stay tour if your primary aim is hiking.
