- ACheryl· September 21st, 2023Because we had visited a couple of the places on this tour on our own before, I was a little concerned it might be boring in parts. But Craig was an excellent guide and each stop was interesting and educational. The Lost Canyons tour provided a lasting impression of the magnificence of the geology and peoples of Arizona throughout the past. I especially enjoyed the choice of hotels, the hiking and walking, both Jeep tours and the train rides. The train in Jerome was my favorite. Craig's addition of music to match his narrative was fun. The only negative I have is the food at Thunderbird Lodge. The buffet dinner of chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables was bland and flavorless.
