The gradual ascent and extra days for acclimatization helped me avoid altitude sickness, making the experience much more enjoyable. Each day felt like stepping into a new world—from dense rainforests to the open Shira Plateau and the rugged alpine desert. I especially loved camping under the stars on the plateau. The views were magical, and the sense of isolation gave the trip a peaceful and almost meditative feel.
