Itinerary

New Delhi to Agra
You'll get picked up from Delhi Airport or your New Delhi hotel and head toward Agra on the Yamuna Expressway, which takes about 3 hours. Once you arrive and check in, you can walk through Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site that Emperor Akbar built back in 1565. After that, head over to Baby Taj (the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah) to see the intricate marble work and gardens. By evening, you'll make your way to Mehtab Bagh where you can catch the sunset and get those views of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River.

Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to New Delhi
You'll start early with your guide to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise when the light is soft and gentle. After exploring the monument and grabbing breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel and travel to Fatehpur Sikri, a red stone city that Emperor Akbar founded in 1569 and used as the Mughal empire's capital. You'll have time to walk around the monuments and courtyards there before heading back to Delhi Airport or your hotel in New Delhi for your departure.
